During my first serious ctb effort when I was 16 I listened to this album on repeat, very loud.

Would recommend.

I have so many songs I would like to listen to before I'm gone it's hard to choose.

Anyway I'm listening a lot to this one lately

Music has been such a comfort for me my entire life, and I feel like I'll really need it to feel less alone when I go. I'm having trouble choosing just one. I'm curious what songs other people would choose and for what reasons.

Right now I'm personally deciding between Sufjan Steven's Fourth of July, Cavetown's This is Home, To Build a Home by The Cinematic Orchestra, Thank You by Dido, or an ethereal edit of Clair de Lune. Those are songs that just hit me in the gut with comfort every time. It's kind of cringe and sappy, but I figure I get to be cringe and sappy when it comes to my final moments, haha

Anyone else plan on music or no? I'm interested what the reason is if people won't want to listen to anything, too
Country roads before and abhi na jao chodd kar by asha bhosle ( it's a song in my language) it essentially translates to do not leave alone me rn

Laputa: Castle in the Sky ost. The main theme of it in the beginning. I remember having it on tape as a kid and watching it all the time. It'd remind me of when I didn't have dysphoria and was just a dumb happy kid.

Definitely "A Fond Farewell" by Elliott Smith, I'm a huge fan of his music and I thought this would be a cool outro lol.

Doesn't matter what they play since I will be dead. But would be fitting to play Night We Met by Lord Huron.
