An update on the OFCOM situation: As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. OFCOM, the UK’s communications regulator, has singled out our community, demanding compliance with their Online Safety Act despite our minimal UK presence. This is a blatant overreach, and they have been sending letters pressuring us to comply with their censorship agenda.
Our platform is already blocked by many UK ISPs, yet they continue their attempts to stifle free speech. Standing up to this kind of regulatory overreach requires lots of resources to maintain our infrastructure and fight back against these unjust demands. If you value our community and want to support us during this time, we would greatly appreciate any and all donations.

There's a few bits and pieces on Reddit but that's it I think.Google news is very disappointing
They fear copycats? There's even articles stating that the suicide rate hasn't climbed since the start of the pandemic lolThere's a few bits and pieces on Reddit but that's it I think.
Really?? It actually risen 30% from what I heard. They fear copycats? There's even articles stating that the suicide rate hasn't climbed since the start of the pandemic lol
The rate is soaring. I don't remember where I read it. It is especially high in 18 to 24 year olds. There's even articles stating that the suicide rate hasn't climbed since the start of the pandemic lol
True. The rate is soaring. I don't remember where I read it. It is especially high in 18 to 24 year olds.
"Suicide rate has jumped 800%!!!" That wouldn't help matters lolThe suicide rate has been rising a lot. I'm also surprised I havnt been seeing it in the news. I suppose it's to make others feel better and kind of push it a side so they don't have to think about it?
I wouldnt be surprised if they stated that person died of corona Instead of suicide. Not to alarm anyone on the news...The suicide rate has been rising a lot. I'm also surprised I havnt been seeing it in the news. I suppose it's to make others feel better and kind of push it a side so they don't have to think about it?
It's like the scene in The Happening all over the world. People falling off buildings, laying under lawn mowers, etc,It's bizzare there has been radio silence on this but there has to be a big rise. People have been deprived of basic liberties for nearly a year.
its a scientific fact if I recall correctly that suicidality increases amongst those groups. well, at least that's what psychiatrists says. they think that'd encourage ctb.
No we're more disconnectedPeople are more connected than ever. It should be all over their social media feeds.
tbh i'd rather not have if addressed as much, draws less attention to the forum.People are more connected than ever. It should be all over their social media feeds.
No we're more disconnected
plus not only the media dislikes approaching such topics. people are not opened to discuss suicide. it's still taboo. even if the news started to notify cases i don't there would be a huge modification in the public behavior.People are more connected than ever. It should be all over their social media feeds.
