What should I expect of shooting myself behind the head through the brainstem?

I bought a SAR9 9mm handgun back in June. I read somewhere on here that a gunshot blast through the brainstem has an increased likelihood of inducing death.

What sorts of feelings/sensations, damage to the head, or chances of lethality should I expect from this method? Thanks.
