Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I picked out the most diagnosed and known mental health disorders in the field and I'm wondering how many people have officially been diagnosed with some of these disorders.
(Please no self diagnoses here)

PTSD since I was a child. Watching your uncle try to kill your father will do that.
OCD since I was about 12. I got group and individual therapy for it in high school and it did help tone it down. It's more background noise now, it doesn't control me but it will never completely go away.
Bipolar II since my early 20s, SNRI medication triggered my first manic episode and I was put on mood stabilizers. I've been relatively stable for the past ~10 years. When I do have episodes, I get ultradian/ultra-rapid cycling and can go through mood shifts within days or weeks.
MDD, diagnosed about a month after being abruptly broken up with by my ex-girlfriend. This isn't quite a condition, but that event was shocking enough that it triggered psychosis on top of that, which was... Fun.

Persistent Depressive Disorder
Major Depressive Disorder (for that two scoops of depression goodness!)
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (though this is co-morbid with my depression and goes away if my depression is under control)
So, to just clarify because I realized that I was vague:
If someone is in active treatment for a mental disorder by a professional that can legally diagnose in their area, and the professional agrees that this person has these disorders, but has agreed to not officially diagnose due to multiple safety issues, is that not allowed?
It's alright if not, I just don't see the difference myself /gen

Officially (I guess) I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety, but I think it was preliminary diagnosis. That's why I want to try therapy once again to clarify.
It's no biggie! Safety issues vary by location and marginalization. There are multiple for me, but right now it's mostly to make sure insurance doesn't prevent access to gender affirming care and stuff
The ones I have medically recognized from the poll list are BPD, GAD, an ED, and (C)PTSD. GAD is the only one of these listed on my record, but I'll probably get (C)PTSD diagnosed sooner than later for better support access!

Recently got my official Schizophrenia diagnosis. It's a difficult thing to come to terms with >w< On one hand it totally makes sense to me and I see myself in the diagnosis, on the other its motherfucking schizophrenia!!! T-T It feels so surreal. Half the time I accept it, and the other half I feel like I'm gaslighting myself into thinking I tricked the doctors ._. It's a weird place to be
Autism, Schizoaffective Disorder, Avoidant Personality Disorder, Bipolar II, Clinical Depression (before bipolar diagnosis), Social Anxiety, General Anxiety, ADHD, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. Just artificial labels to describe my behavior or ways of thinking that defy cultural values.
Counselor here has to mention how diagnoses/diagnosing is HIGHLY tied to the insurance INDUSTRY. Capitalized to emphasize industrialization of mental health. Even when the term behavioral health is used, that also has reasons/factors.
This could be like a whole thesis, but point being there are plenty reasons why mental health treatment has only been going up. Need going up.
Plenty of focus on individualization. Individual responsibility.
Hell, the whole pharmaceutical industry is another layer. Power and money mean so much. Though everything is ultimately products of humans being human...
There's a reason I have always started first sessions by clarifying that insurance requires diagnosing, and thus will simply need to happen.
Oh and of course me getting to thinking about death got to get me having family needing to claim that I must clearly be depressed and pushing for me to get evaluated. Fuck that, I know plenty well about psych wards. I know plenty well of not being able to talk about these things, unfortunately outside of a fucking online forum...
