What if the state after death is much more shit than this life? Of course we have science and "know" that our consciousness is generated by the brain. This makes sense in our logic. But what if this logic is just an illusion? All of science feels correct because we as humans have a specific way to think about things and a sense of what is logical. But this must not be correct. I dont refer to religion and such stuff. I was often enough heavly druged and had a different kind of "logic" that make totally sense in that scenario. What i want to say is that our view, especially about concepts of life and death may not be right and is only formed by the logic of our mind, which may or may not be correct.

I think we won't be responsible even if it exists. Unless you CTB taking someone else with you by mistake or on purpose.
I can't judge but when you buy an item you can see it and here we start to exist without any idea. Worst that can happen we will be born again like level 1 characters in a game.

I know that my consciousness comes from my brain. If there's no electricity in my brain, no energy being expended, I'm not conscious.

I died for a few minutes multiple times and for me, no magical life flashing before my eyes, none of that stuff. just oblivion just like before i was born.

death for me is complete peace, i don't believe in god, and i never will

Interesting. May I ask what happened that made you die for a few minutes multiple times ?

There wont be peace in death. There will be no you. When i die i will never feel the relief im looking for.
Imagine turning off your thinking, then memories, then sensations, and finally your awareness goes away. I went under for anesthesia once. Theres just nothing.

I dont mean to be negative or anything but thats just death. Life is everything; which is you, and good and bad things, and death is nothing. You can interpret that however you want.

And yea you have a point; what if that logic is still wrong? Our mind is so.. subjective.
But Even if i was somehow wrong, hell whats the point? I was going to die eventually and see it for myself. This is the best bet of understanding i got until then to base my decisions around.

I only believe in non-existence where this evil, torturous and dreadful existence is all gone and forgotten, for me non-existence is the only peace from the terrible tragic mistake of existence where existing beings are tortured so unbearably all for the sake of it.

I feel certain that death is true peace and to be permanently at peace from this existence so evil, dreadful and terrible is all I've ever hoped for, to suffer in this hellish existence where there is no limit as to how much one can be tortured truly is the most terrible abomination to me and I find it so horrific how humans cause all this harm and suffering by so tragically imposing this existence, for me non-existence is just all that's positive, for me ceasing to exist would be the positive solution to finally find peace from the suffering, torture and cruelty of existing.

it's not necessarily peace that i seek from suicide, it's just the fact that death is a guaranteed change in circumstance. you can't feel peace, but you also can't feel like shit anymore either if your brain is gone

You can't know for sure what happens, but for most, it's a gamble to change their shitty circumstance. People feel stuck, so at least it's movement forward, whatever it may be. Whether the gamble pays off is anyone's guess.

I wish there was moment of peace - like you actually feel, thank god I did die & don't have to be miserable anymore but I'm hoping to get to a point to feel that peace beforehand. I hope it's in the afterlife but we all do whether we are suicidal or not bc we all die. But when we die, we don't exist in this life anymore, that's gone so you no longer have to deal with what you are if you don't wanna be here anymore.

It's crazy that 13 billions years passed, and we didn't feel a second. Time meant nothing.

Don't know what comes after this for certain, but I believe it's nothingness, just like that before we came into being. What I do know for certain is that this place, whatever it is, truly sucks. There is no peace here, nor will there ever be. I'm willing to take my chances on getting back to nothingness.
