The most fulfilling job out there imo is day trading for a few reasons

1 you don't work for money you make money work for you
2 your not paid based off bullshit metrics and a company's desire to extract as much out of you for the least amount of pay
3 you have no glass ceiling you can make as much as you want or deserve based on your skill
4 no bullshit dance and song application credit check background check and telling some stranger the last 10 years of ur employment history just for the chance to be their company slave
5 you will feel special your not an npc like the rest of the world
6 you can scale and also take off work anytime you want
7 you can't be fired
8 you get bragging rights when you make someone's entire salary in a an hour in your boxers
9 all of the above
10 you literally get to look at everything you buy with your profits and go I created this with my brain i literally created money out of nothing

Warning take some time like even a year or more to learn it before you do it and get alot of hours of screen time under your belt paper trade like it's real before you do it for real

For those wondering i use to be self employed trader and a licenced prop trader for a hedge fund

I hate trading

The worst experience in life is to make money off of trade. The best experience is to make money off of production

Having done both and now doing more of the former than of the latter i hate life

I understand why many idle rich CTB. The poor and the rich can never understand why they both feel existential dread unless someone has been in both shoes in their lifetime

how do you learn day trading? i mean there are lots of scammers out there offering those courses, how do i recognize the good ones?
I tried weekly trading with crypto and failed. Even in the rare instances where I made money the stress wasn't worth it. Unless you really have success trading will rob you of years of life. Day trading sounds like what I went through but daily. No thanks. I'd rather program for money, it's much more interesting and I am offering people something they actually use.

There's something very exciting about trading though, it's like gambling but with a percentage of luck being displaced to actual skill/research.

Trading is nonproductive activity. It's role in a normal economy should be in the sidelines not at the center

We've made it the core of the global financial system. It's no longer about who can make what better it's about how can you screw somebody over in the market. This attitude is what is making the Americans get the pants beat off of them

90% of jobs are nonproductive activity you don't produce anything being paid for your time besides our economy is fake 2/3 of all whealth in America comes from real eastate and stocks very few is from producing anything meaningful to the open market

i used to do volunteer work before the pandemic and it's very fulfilling imo. you won't earn much but i think making other people happy + helping them is good enough for me because i can't make myself happy anymore.

Go into the trades.
Many trades have apprenticeships. They literally pay you while you work and learn. Or the schooling is reasonably short then you start an apprenticeship.

Don't know if I can do trades since I don't have the physical strength for some of them (for reference I once almost passed out after trying to bench press only 20 pounds and I've lost arm wrestling matches to a third grader while I was an adult) plus I'd rather not have to go back to school or spend too much time doing learning of any kind…

You need to change your attitude. If you want a good job it won't fall from the trees without being willing to learn something. Most unskilled jobs are horrible, everyone knows that.

I heard school/uni janitors have it easy though.

It may be rewarding for a time, but I doubt cleaning the same thing over again is fulfilling. Students are the worst kind of users when it comes being clean.

I've also gotten a lot out of volunteering, especially helping people after disasters, usually fires. It can be difficult, at times, but at least I have been able to assist.

I went to a few schools but every school janitor/custodian I recall had a permanent scowl and exuded misery. But I attended pretty horrible primary and secondary schools.

That's probably the crux of the entire dilemma but if I could change my attitude in the first place, then I likely wouldn't even be here for any reason. 😞

I suppose there is always desperation from being put out on the street but that's really not going to happen so long as my household is able to collect disability money from the state for my sister.
