I would only do it at night, bedtime. That way it gives me half a day where no one would expect me to be awake anyway, so longer time to be found.

Morning, about one hour after sunrise. Simply because I'll be doing it in a forest and I'm paranoid of animals. Don't need a bunch of hoags or whatever chasing me around in the last few moments lol

Certainly the night time for me. I like the sound of leaving this world when it's dark outside, but still it doesn't really matter too much what time of the day I would ctb. What is important is that I would succeed and finally free myself from this world.

When I CTB it will be on the weekend and at night, most likely a Saturday night. Because of how I have to do it, and to notify someone (police) by mail that I CTB, that's pretty much the time frame I'm limited to. I suppose I could CTB on a Sunday might, too.

Between the hours of 2 and 4am, most likely on a Sunday morning. I want to jump from a relatively busy bridge so that seems like a time when there will be the least amount of traffic.

Nighttime, at the same time I usually go to bed. This gives me plenty of time during the day to finalise things; leaving notes about which banks and institutions that would require a death certificate to help with probate, also the solicitors that hold my last will and testament.
I will also use this time to ensure I write down exactly what I want to happen with my body afterward and funeral plans, cremation etc.

I wanted to do it in a hotel but due to other factors I may be unable to.

One thing to worry about also with hotels, if anyone's method is SN..there have been some frightening claims here that some fail and wake up days later, and that alone would cause me to want to book more than one night, just incase that horrible possibility ever came to fruition.
I am terrified of any set of circumstances that would land me in the hospital and thus the psych ward.
I can never go back there.

Before moving to the city, I used to live in a dark sky region.

Honestly, the stars would be a perfect last image.
