sunset, or early evening. realistically though, it's nighttime, as i haven't moved out from my parents' house yet, so might find me during the attempt, unless it's when they're asleep

Morning, about one hour after sunrise. Simply because I'll be doing it in a forest and I'm paranoid of animals. Don't need a bunch of hoags or whatever chasing me around in the last few moments lol

Agreed! I am planning my CTB in the morning somewhere in nature, so that family won't find me dead in my bedroom. I believe it would be traumatizing for my mother to find me in bed dead. I don't think that she would want to live in that house anymore lol. Neither would I!

Idealistically, at sunset. It feels like a romantic time to CTB. Namely, the sun is going away, and so is my life.

Realistically, late at night., like after 11:00 PM (23:00). I want to buy time for SN to do its thing, before people in my life realize something is amiss. After all, they'll be sleeping. By the time they wake up and start worrying why I'm not answering my phone or replying to texts, my bus will have left many hours ago.
