Discussion What is your opinion on people who record their suicide?

It's their choice. Ending up on gore sites is a big risk then. But again it's their choice.

I think part of its selfish because for people like Ronnie it ended up getting sent to there family which is absolutely awful

I don't really understand it as I would always wish to die far away from other people but after all it's their decision to do such a thing.

Depending on the method it could be helpful to some but other than that i dont see a purpose. I feel like it will end up on sites for people to laugh at it and give suicidal people a bad image, but even then we will always have a bad image. Their choice

Yeah, that is honestly so terrible. I feel for them.
It seems a bit selfish and cruel. Same with people that ctb in public/ crowded places. I already know that the people in my life will be traumatized/ scarred by my passing, and that is the hardest part about this journey. I don't want to hurt anyone, but in the case of my friends and family that is unfortunately inevitable. I want to hurt the least amount of people possible, so I will do anything to make sure no one else has to witness/ be involved in this. But everyone makes their own choices

I don't know. I don't like the fact that people use videos of people committing suicide as shock content. Or when they treat it as a joke.

Edit: Can be useful for figuring out a method in some cases, but people are assholes and make a mockery out of the dead, which is why I have mixed feelings.
People who die by suicide deserve respect, not to be mocked.
