Trying. Over and over. Giving everything I've got to better myself or change my situation or make myself "better," only to fall and fail miserably. And never having learned my lesson time after time.

Right there with you booray, l was a Heroin and Crack(Snowball) addict for many years until l ran out of veins and had to seek help,now I'm on 53mls of methadone daily down from 120mls.

Lots of things but I'd say loneliness just because it follows you everywhere and there's no controlling it even around the people you love. For such a social species humans are, no one tells or prepares us how much of our lives are spent being alone and feeling lonely and how we somehow have to live with ourselves.

Probably chronic health problems. The fact that our bodies can torture us and we have little control over this and there is no limit as to how bad it can get. Apart from that, the sensation of being conscious, how we are aware of everything all the time. It can be like a prison.

Another of the worst things is that people die who want to live and vice versa. I am pretty sure I'm too much of a wimp (at the moment) to actually kill myself. I wish I could just fall asleep and not wake up.
