What is the worst holiday / celebration for you?

I know holidays and celebrations are tough for many of us. I was wondering what everyone's worst holiday / celebration is for you?

For me, it's my birthday because I feel so alone and I've never had friends to have a party with, so it feels really bad as it highlights my loneliness.

Xmas is always a difficult time to endure as it only serves to remind me of how much alone l am, and as accustomed to being alone as l am, Xmas still manages to be brutally painful from a emotional point of view, so l try to remove myself from the event as much as I can by not putting up a tree or decorations or tinsel & light's, but then doing that makes me wonder if l'm depriving myself from just a little bit of joy?

Christmas because reminders start appearing in October/November and it seems to stretch right through until New Year.

After that- birthday. Why would I see my birth as a good thing?!!

I don't really 'celebrate' anything. Those days which others see as being a big deal are just another day for me of feeling trapped in this horrific world and wishing to die. But anything in relation to the commercialised forced optimism that is Christmas is certainly so irritating and I hate what birthdays represent which is the fact that I've managed to suffer for yet another year in an existence that I've never wished to endure. But the thought of celebrating anything feels so wrong to me, I don't believe that life should be glorified in any way and there is nothing desirable about existing to be worth celebrating in the first place.

All of them. The year goes new years day. Valentines day. My birthday. Easter. Halloween. Bon fire night. Christmas. New year's eve. There's always something going on. Just want to be dead too avoid all that bollocks.

I hate all holidays that has long weekend. New year is the hardest one for me tho. It's so boring. I don't celebrate birthday some time i just totally forgot it.

Christmas. I don't want to see the commercials about it, the tv movies about it, don't wanna hear the stupid holiday music and certainly don't want someone wishing me a "Merry Christmas ". Being alone sucks- especially at Christmas. After that would be my late wife's birthday (right near Christmas). December is not a good month for me.

Christmas. I love giving gifts to people, but it's so stressful to have to find the right gifts for so many people, especially when I don't have a lot of money to spend. Also, I usually don't get many gifts in return. I know it's not about that, of course, but it does sting a bit when you agonize over a good gift only to get absolutely nothing back.

Idk if this counts but for me it's International Friendship Day. Two years ago on that day, I coded my best friend a friendship website about how much she means to me. I spent 30+ hours on it and put a ton of effort and care into it. She wasn't very appreciative of it and just a couple months later, she abused me horrifically. I can't believe I ever believed in friendship.
