Thank you so much for the kind words. My heart goes out to you too. There are so many wonderful people here, none of us deserve the pain we're going through. My heart breaks reading some of the life stories and terrible conditions people are living with. It's none of my business, but may I ask what your rare disease is?

Regarding the brain fog, it's indeed embarrassing. I make a fool of myself often, not being able to concentrate, forgetting basic things, people thinking I'm stupid. It's almost as bad as the pain itself. Hugs.

I am so sorry you struggle with and have been through so much pain. I have a rare disease that mocks fibro in a lot of ways but I also have lipomas that press on nerves and the pain is excruciating at times. I have the brain fog and I hate it so bad. It's so embarrassing sometimes. You're not alone and I can completely understand. You shouldn't have to go through so much and deserve nothing but peace and happiness.

I second the brain fog. I used to be a teacher so I could speed-read and was really alert. Nowadays, it takes me ages to understand things and my reading comprehension has gone down the toilet. I have to read some posts a few times to understand anything. I usually just read posts with a few lines, otherwise I start struggling. Daily migraines on top of the brain fog are very disabling.

I don't really do that but I often wish I was my younger self and try to put my mind back into a place where I can actually physically feel like I did when I was younger, before life fucked me over.
