Ive been big on freestyle tinywhoop FPV drones recently, it can be a little expensive to start as you need to get goggles and a controller, but they are a one time purchase and can be reused for years.
its like discovering a whole new world to me. in under a minute from anywhere you are (as long as you had the foresight to charge your batteries and put everything in your backpack and don't mind to look a little goofy in public

)
you can pop them out and be doing spins, hoops, and going through trees and bushes, fly super high near a building and cruise it down, see ordinary things you see everyday from completely different perspectives you would have never seen otherwise.
and there's always new tricks to learn, new spots to discover, sometimes people are curious and come ask me what im doing which can be entertaining.
