Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

One of the main things stopping me from finally killing myself is that I'm absolutely terrified of being put into a psych ward. It's my worst nightmare. To avoid this, I was thinking I could come up with an elaborate, believable story about meat curing so that the ER staff doesn't know that I tried to kill myself. What should I tell them? I am vegan so I knew absolutely nothing about meat curing.

I was also thinking about buying some meat to put in my kitchen so that in case the emergency staff come into my apartment to take me to the ambulance, they will believe my story that I was just trying to cure meat and not killing myself. Normally I'd be ethically opposed to that but I'd be willing to make an exception in this case (especially since I would save far more animals being dead than living until I'm 90). I'll keep the meat in the fridge though, because if I do manage to die successfully, I wouldn't want the meat to just be rotting on the countertop for ages (I'm guessing it will take a long time before my body gets found since I have no friends and my family lives a thousand miles away). I'll also keep my suicide note a bit hidden rather than just out on my bedside table so that emergency staff don't see it (same with my painkillers, propranolol, and meto).

Better be one hell of a story. They're not stupid. They've seen it all before. They even have special seminars so they can recognize it easily when someone tries to CTB. Not sure where you're from, but in the US, and I imagine most western countries, SN CTB is all over the news. You'd be one heck of an actor to convince those "who know better" that it was merely an accident. That's just my thoughts on it. Maybe someone else will chime in with a different take.

Maybe try to look up SN accidents. I've found one paper on it where a man died who ate a homemade sausage with too much SN. I think shit like that its the only way to make it look like an accident.

Say you used a lot of benzocaine for a toothache. That can cause methemoglobinemia
