What Does Customs Actually Do With SN?

When I first bought SN I believe customs had it for a while as the envelope/package it came in was already open on arrival. I'm assuming they thought it was drugs or something.

That was about a month and a half ago or so but the thought has just occurred to me: what if they opened the actual slips that contain the SN? They might not have put it back again properly? I should probably check.

Would they have been likely to do this? How else would they test what the substance might be? Why else would they open the envelope/package? Unless they can tell just by looking at it? I'm not sure, but it makes me concerned. I don't know how the customs thing works when it comes to this.

I ordered some more after this that arrived thankfully not opened. Not sure why they were suspicious about the first not but not this one. But I'm still cautious about this first lot. Could it have 'gone bad' because of them?

EDIT: Another question, any tips on where best to store SN and how? I'm suddenly super paranoid about it going off and losing it's 'flavor'.

seen them have a device that can scan the powder for any common drugs. Not sure what the process is but they might just use something like that?

Or they have someone taste test it...

Had the same for me, package was opened with a rubber band holding it closed when it arrived. Contents didn't seem to be messed with however?

Check its not illegal drugs then seal back up and send it on I'd guess.

No- sorry- I don't really know... I expect they swab the packaging and test it for illegal drugs. Maybe they are satisfied with just a visual check if they open it. Not that familiar with how drugs look but I know SN has a yellowish tinge to it- not sure if it looks that similar to drugs. Plus, I guess they could check a small sample.

I expect they do random checks. I'm not so sure ALL mail is x-rayed. I doubt they have the time or resources.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if they crack down on SN even more in the future. Expect there will come a point where they intercept parcels for individuals rather than companies- if they identify sources. Still, maybe laws would have to change for that. It is still a legal substance in many places.
