• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

ive seen alot of people on here saying they dont think theres anything after death, but what about the people that dont believe this? What do you think happens?

I love reading NDE, especially suicide survivors, even though some of them scare the shit out of me. There seems to be a common theme among people who have had a NDE by attempting suicide, most that ive read describe an empty dark place where there is no light, no people, and all they feel is sadness and depression.

Id like to know what everyone on here thinks.

Well, all I feel right now is sadness and depression. And it can always get worse in this earthly plane // and I say that as someone who has just come out of in patient..

So… what is the difference?

It's hard to say what I believe.. I'm still coming to terms with it myself..

Best case scenario, we get to try again with a different set of hopefully better circumstances…

No sense in contemplating the worst before the final act…

What are your thoughts?

I agree with that.. im just hoping there is no hell and we arent stuck in "nothingness" forever.
I like to think there is a heaven or some sort of peaceful place where we can all rest, maybe we have to go through some sort of soul cleansing first, which could be the void described in suicide survivors NDE? I personally dont really like the idea of reincarnation because we could end up in a much worse situation.

Ive also read many NDE where the person has felt pure bliss, peace, and love- this is what i hope its like.

Personally I believe in an afterlife. I think it's our true home, and it's been the main reason I've wanted to ctb since I was a kid.

i can agree with this, i can only hope we all make it to heaven.. Honestly the only reason i keep delaying ctb is because im so afraid of ending up in "hell" for eternity because of it. I guess we just have to think there is someone up there that will understand

Honestly I don't believe in Hell anymore. When my ex, who was an atheist, died, he stuck around Earth for like 3 months before he moved on. And I honestly don't think he's in Hell now. So if a Hell like place does exist, I believe it's either a place you create and imprison yourself in after death or it's being stuck on Earth. But I think the reality is we all move on to a place full of love and comfort after being stuck on Earth for however long we are.

Also my parents are materialists who don't believe in souls and think I'm crazy for believing in an afterlife. So I don't know how I innately thought it was true when I was a child.

I sure hope eternal nothingness comes after, it's the only true escape from suffering. I'm not completely against the idea of reincarnation though.

Reincarnation is my worst nightmare. When I leave Earth, I want it to be a one way ticket.

Yeah the two nightmare scenarios for me are purgatory and reincarnation. Actually any afterlife would be a nightmare scenario.

Can i ask how you know that souls are stuck on earth? This is so interesting to me.
There are so many recorded NDE of "hell" but there are even more documenting a place like heaven.
Common "hell like" NDE include descriptions of human-like beings, being tormented by demonic creatures- and a feeling like dying without ever dying.
On the flip side people with good NDE seem to always talk about a bright light that engulfs them and takes them to a place with the purest form of love and peace imaginable.
I do believe NDE mostly support the christian theology as opposed to other religions, but who really knows.
Yeah the two nightmare scenarios for me are purgatory and reincarnation. Actually any afterlife would be a nightmare scenario.
same, i dont know if id rather a heaven like scenario or simply ceasing to exist. Whenever i start to think about simply ceasing to exist i find myself wondering why we were even put on this earth if there is no life after death? Why were we given morals.. whilst animals go about their day doing whatever. Surely we have a purpose here?
Its comforting to know that other people are worried about what happens after.. atleast we know we'll (more than likely) end up in the same place.

I just believe death to simply be non-existence which is all I wish and hope for, I just want to never suffer ever again, I only wish to be permanently unconscious of this torturous, futile existence I always saw as the most cruel, terrible tragic mistake that just caused all this unnecessary suffering all for the sake of it. I wouldn't wish to exist under any circumstances and I find it so tragic how this existence that caused all this harm was even imposed at all, for me non-existence is all that's positive and is all that can bring me any relief from the cruelty and suffering of existing where there is no limit as to how much agony one can feel.

There's a good few of us who've had extremely bizarre experiences in our lives that realistically cant be put down to chance - they're so pointed and the timing is such - that we believe there is something more going on in terms of someone/thing orchestrating critical events in our lives when we most need them.

That being the case, it does then make you think about the distinct possibility of what exists after.

When you die you just lose your body and then you are left with your mind. So sad, lonely, depressed people are seeing their sad, lonely, depressed mind. What comes next depends on religion. I believe you are reincarnated depending on you karma.

when you die, your body, which is made up of atoms, essentially disintegrates as those atoms are rearranged and become part of the environment around you, following the principle that matter cannot be created or destroyed, only transformed; meaning your atoms will continue to exist in different forms after your death, either nothing forever or rebirth into a new machine somewhere in the universe

I believe in Jesus and I believe in heaven and hell. I believe what happens to us after we die depends on the faith we carried while we were living.
There are debates in religion about what happens to those who choose to commit suicide - I'm not sure if I believe going to hell for committing a sin you can't repent from or that God as merciful as he is would forgive one of his for their weakness in their suffering. 🤷‍♀️ As a person of faith that's suicidal, I've just come to terms with the fact that either is a possibility for me and while it can cause some internal turmoil and physical hesitation to ctb - I'm already serving a life sentence in hell so I don't have much to lose.

I had a period where i lost my faith.. Ive been working on regaining that and building a relationship with God... I dont personally believe Christians go to hell after committing suicide. God forgives all our sins past, present and future so i think we should be okay. I am worried about it but just hope God understands.

Interesting to think about where people'd go after death, what about animals, or even bacteria and plants and stuff, personally i think they just become material or sth, but it would be cool to see what would be the last thing going on from that perspective. As for gods and stuff, kinda wonder about if gods die do they meet their god lol, recursion

I find myself reading about it for ages! Im not sure why but im so infatuated with what comes after- guess its rooted from fear. People say plants and animals dont get life after death is because they dont have souls- I like to think my dog will join me in wherever i end up, shes amazing. Its crazy to think that there is just one "being" controlling all this, i cant wrap my head around it.. how does something exist when nothing exists? How was the creator, created??

Cease to exist. You are as if you never were. No thought, no darkness, not even nothing as that implies there is space for nothing to exist in. The atoms that made you are repurposed in the universe.

I used to think this aswell, so there is no point to any of this? Why do we exist if we simply are gone after we die, how did we get here?

This is what I always think about, before we were born did we exist? The answer is no we were no where to be found, that's what happens after death, we cease to exist.period.

That was what stumped me, where did everything come from in the first place bruh, so i thought of a number line and that everything should come from number 0 and expand into other numbers, probably a ton of dimensions there and create everything, but it still doesn't explain where it came from. Kind of an annoying thing to think about

Extreme Pain is much worse than people know

1 microsecond after my brain dies I will cease to exist forever. All my problems solved instantly and forever.

In 150 years I and every human alive now all 8 billion will be dead as if they never had existed

What i think i am is only functions of this monstrous brain that can suffer years' long constant unbearable pain

A brain cell is called a neuron. An individual brain cell in a fish mouse fly monkey human is exactly the same. A a brain cell is just the same cell that evolved billions of years ago with some added abominations that allow a brain cell to communicate with other brain cells to create a brain that can suffer unending constant unbearable pain. I can't imagine of a worse abomination. this is nothing to think is something special beautiful nor intelligently designed . It is only the worst nightmare hell possible

Evolution created a torture chamber called a brain and nervous system .
