Discussion What do you guys plan to do with your money before you CTB?

I've been thinking about donating my money to a charity after before i pass. but there's so many other choices, i can indulge in it or give it to a friend or family member. i haven't seen anyone talk about the choices before

probably a charity to help women bc im sick of the treatment we get

I have a special needs trust I wish I could donate it but since someone controls it it will probably go to family

like ive got cash money.. i have some saving an isa not a lot but i own sevral rare 1st editon books worth more than gold in the futur my 1930s copy of Peter And Wendy goes to a niece my 1st editon set of terry prachett . and i have signed map..1st edition print of IT signed and i have a ton more spent alot on saving a bit of history.. but my money is in one book a finger print signiture of a brief history of time .. all for my neices.. i could nust sell em make some money and give them the cash.. but these books have history .. and want hem to be kept..to be read and to be passed down to there kids a d there kids kids ...its wby i keep a diary a journal of my life for it to carried on my lifes work as a crap person i record of my art my poems my music...

Nothing. Feel free to call me an asshole, but I don't really care about charities (they have quite bad reputation here). Similar with the different environmental causes, because they all seem to be trying to treat the symptoms instead of the root cause.

I also will not spend it on myself. I'm usually too depressed to enjoy it.

I'll leave to my family to spend as they see fit.

Ehh... Idk, don't have much money to begin with but.. I've got a good bit in a 401k account that I hope my parents/ family can access.

Other than that I'll just enjoy some Nice booze and dope til it's my time to pull the trigger.

Yes, all mine goes to a kids cancer charity, a few hundred thousand(after the condo is sold)

Same, I've never given this any mind- haven't even bothered writing suicide notes.

I just don't see the point? Why plan for something beyond death? It just doesn't matter.

I think the reason why some people "plan for something beyond death" is because when we die, the world still turns.
For most people, their loved ones will be left behind trying to pick up the pieces.

I suppose it's a fair mindset to have if you don't have any regard for others around you, or maybe there is no one.

For me, I have debt, it would be nice to choose who to pass it on to.
I hope it gets written off and isn't passed on to my family, they're poor enough as it is.

Nothing, most likely.
It'll be left for my relatives to do as they see fit. I simply can't be bothered anymore, not even to write a suicide note or will.

Nothing. It all goes to my mum, and if she passes before me then I guess it's up to my siblings to decide what to do with it.

I will leave it all to my family, along with my possessions.. Making transfers would be suspicious so I would take everything out to have it in cash (I will mention it in a note) They can keep whatever they like or find useful. I am attached to my things so I could not give them away in advance. It's not like I have too much either, I'm not rich lol

i got like 2 grand saved but im sending it to my beat friend as the last thing i do before i finally do it (which makes it harder to commit to it unfortunately)

i live on welfare so don't have any savings all i got is what in my flat and i haven't written a will so all my belongs will all go to the government

I don't really have any money at all, so I'm not going to do anything with it. Especially since I can never guarantee I'll go though or succeed in my ctb attempt.
