Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I have high earning potential but what's the point? There's nothing in this world I even want. Anyone know what you're supposed to do with money? I'd rather not kms if I don't have to, but that requires there to be something worth living for.

Having money is nice, no? You can buy stuff you like and get into more activities and hobbies, buy food you like and eat healthy, buy nice clothes in any style you want... heck, you can even suicide more efficiently by having money. You can travel to nice places, meet new people, do fun activities. Even shut in indoor activities need money too you can buy VR, do some nerdy stuff like collecting figures, or do tabletop games and buy warhammer 40k books. This is what comes to mind, but I think even if I become rich at some point and get so much money, I will still not do anything. Funnily enough, someone asked me the other day that if I could wish for literally everything what would I wish for, and I just was stuck there and didn't know what to wish for cause it all felt so empty and shallow lol

You can always have love and true friendship while being rich. As for health, it's a hit or miss you may be unlucky and get a bad condition that goes untreated. And don't forget, being poor doesn't help with health at all. Some people are born with diseases that require so much money to treat
Well I've been on the poverty line my whole life and $500 is life changing money. $1000? Feels like I'm rich. Most amount of money I've ever had was $9800 thanks to Covid + unemployment but after paying loans and buying a car it was gone. I've never had money saved over a couple hundred dollars because I simply don't make enough to live. My mom is in the same boat and I've been splitting bills with her since I was a junior in High School. The point of money is a stress free life. Even if I grew up middle class my quality of life would've been so much better. But instead we bounced apartment to apartment. Homeless shelters and living with friends.
Money does in fact buy happiness and people who say otherwise are coping or never had to struggle

Jokes aside, some people report feeling better by doing community service (think feeding the homeless and such, maybe donate and help an animal shelter, you can go there and play with the dogs, pet the cats...)
I can't guarantee it'd work, as I personally hate humanity too much to feel good by doing altruistic shit, and helping on animal shelters just made me feel more alone and shitty.
I play the lottery once a week, to see if my brain gets a reset if I win 1 million... In fact, I watched a documentary about a winner who planned his suicide, and just some days before his attempt, he won several millions... Incredible. He said he was no longer suicidal after he won. His wife wasn't aware about his plans, and when he told him he was very close to suicide, she cried, and the guy cried. Very moving story.
So my conclusion after that is : yes, a huge amount of money can save and change lives. If I win, I'd give money to SaSu members who need it and buy a house for me and my old cat. It's my last dream at this date (I have more chances to win the lottery than being cured from all my health issues).
I truly encourage everyone who can to play the lottery. I mean, we never know ?? And if the money is lost, we're already suicidal, so...

Lot of people become suicidal because of money problems. Poverty is a well-known risk factor for suicide. It's a running theme on many of the threads across this fourm.
Ultimately money buys you less stress, fewer problems and statistically better outcome in certain areas of life.
Money would bring me privacy, a space to myself and control over what happens to me. I don't really need anything else in life. Call me shallow, I guess.
That said, I understand that money only goes so far. Not everyone is my same boat, and not every problem is so easily fixed.
