i finished wind up bird chronicle a couple of days ago, i really loved it. i love murakamis characters, they're so captivating. they're quirked up

but not in any distracting way, he sells it really well. i also think he really knows how to convey the pain one has when they're at their loneliest. im a sentimental crybaby, and i try to mask that when im out and about, but this one really shattered my heart at times and made me tear up on campus hhh. but i don't mind, i guess it's a testament to how good the book is.
but right now im on a
ryu murakami book, in the miso soup. i liked audition a lot, it was a really good short read. horror doesn't work for me in a like scary sense but the build up in this one has been almost as good so far. hoping to finish it by tomorrow ^-^
