The spring air after a pounding rain.
Unburned tobacco. A fresh pouch just hits nice. Especially since I quit smoking.

Stinky tofu, the Chinese dish. My mom and I are the only ones who like it. It just feels like tofu mixed with cheese to me. Actually most smelly cheeses would also count as weird smelling things I like too.

Diesel was my favourite, always enjoyed refuelling my truck.
Also rainy days, unburnt tobacco and smoke, used to love going for a walk on bonfire night.

Animal smells. The smell when my kitty yawns, I love it and hate it. The smell around my computer, the smell of my pillow, the smell of clean clothes, the smell of not so clean clothes. Wood sawdust, resin, hay, manure, autumn leaves, swamp, seaweed, the smell of ozone, the smell of something burning, library smells, hospital smells, church smells (I'm an atheist but the atmosphere in churches is interesting), I miss the smells of art college. Some chemical smells, but they tend to be unhealthy and pungent and quickly become annoying . There are probably other smells I like, but I can't remember right now.
I like to smell lots of different things, especially things I've never smelled before. I can spend at least an hour studying the smells of different perfumes, soaps, candle scents and the like, I don't have to buy them, I just go to the shop and smell them.
Recently I lost my sense of smell because of covid, felt clumsy about it.
Now my sense of smell is back, but some of the smells are distorted, it's sad, especially because coffee and mint smell awful now, hopefully that will change soon.

am also a part of the gasoline crowd.

sharpies, tires, chlorine and bleach also are weirdly appealing to me but I try to steer away from all of the above for the sake of health.

This might be weird, but when I'm in love with someone, everything about them is attractive to me. So even their sweat smell sweet to me.

I used to have a hobby of sampling a lot of colognes. I enjoyed some of the more "unique" ones. I guess you can call them weird too.

A smell from one I like is called "Memoirs of a Trespasser" from Imaginary Authors. It makes you feel very grounded and earthy although some people smell sweet vanilla. Experiences will vary. It transports you to a less modern and busy place to somewhere slower, maybe tribal, woody, earthy, hot, and dry. It's a nice escape. Sounds corny, but that was my impression. It's not something I'd wear because I'd get sick of it after 30 minutes.

If you guys like the smell of gasoline and cut grass, the original version of "Fahrenheit" by Dior has that vibe. People say it's a nostalgic 80s scent. Again, too strong for me to actually wear.

A dark and emo one is called "Encre Noir." Gives the vibe of dark gothic forests. Only people committed to that vibe can pull wearing this one I think. Again, too much for me personally, but interesting to sniff.

If you guys ever want to try them, I suggest only getting samples only. Getting full bottles would cost too much, even if you think you'd want one.
