I was on the wikipedia for SN, and I saw a hyperlink to a page just titled "Sanctioned Suicide", and it's a wiki article about this website, but It's short (for now). Upon looking at the revision history, it was made on February 10th, so only a week ago; it seems we're coming to more and more prominence. To be honest, I'm starting to worry a bit, even if it's unfounded. I also have no idea if this has been posted here before, but I thought I'd post this just to make people aware. What is everyone's thoughts on this?

I don't see why it really matters, I really couldn't care less if some article is written about this place, anything that pro lifers write is always not worth reading and anyway no matter what pro lifers say continuing to exist could never be an obligation.

The problem is when they start restricting SN more and more. And as SN gets more popular, many people will be more suspicious about it, customs, family, etc.

I agree. Idk how is this related, maybe I'm just overthinking it, but in my country there's a lot of suicide happening that catch the attention of masses (not on mainstream media yet, but it's all over twitter)

I'm starting to panic about should I really buy SN now when I'm not mentally ready, or should I wait until I'm ready to ctb with the chance that this item will be harder to get if i'm waiting too long?

I bet you'd feel better if you just bought it. A lot of members here feel better once they have it in their possession, it helps people calm down knowing the option is there. I agreed with this. I have some on the way, and I'm already more relaxed, although I know I'm gonna use it pretty quickly (as long as my parents don't take it away, which they shouldn't, because they don't know what SN is). Having a method always makes me calmer, knowing that I have a way out.

I've been asking myself that question ever since that "fix the 26" group first appeared. I don't know why the very people who claim to really, really hate us also slap our URL on everything, but the fact remains that they do.

Unfortunately, I think it's only a matter of time before this site gets shutdown. I can tell that these people are pushing for it. All they need is a fat prolife republican senator to step in and push their weight around. A couple more deaths connected to the site could really make it vulnerable to litigation.

I always thought there was a wikipedia this entire time. Was there one before or is this the first time there's been one?
