I bought a gaming computer one year ago, it's not very expensive and it can run most modern and old titles. I used to have a PS4 Pro and Xbox 360 Jail-Broken with about hundreds of games, i would say the console experience would be better for those who are not very used to computers and have little to no knowledge. The computer provides you with more FPS and better image quality.

It's my favorite form of escapism and cope away from reality, i get invested whenever i am playing a video game with a storyline and it distracts me away all from the bad things in life. I have 200 hours on Kingdom Come Deliverance it's very hard to progress and i had all the time in the world to complete it, i enjoy medieval games a lot because for me it's the perfect kind of world even better from games that are set in modern eras, I'm a huge enthusiast in history too.

What is your favorite video game and what genre do you like?

I also game on PC (since i was 6 or so I'm 43 now) and my favorite game right now is also in the medieval setting but it has zero story and it's free too and very very brutal. I play the Half Sword Demo. I bought the full version but somehow it feels worse than the demo. It reminds me a lot of a really old game i played when i was younger, Die By The Sword because in both you control your avatars hands with the mouse directly, no pre-made animations you have full control.

Oh and i play Division 2 a lot too but that's a near future game but i enjoy just walking around the open world and joining the resistance in their skirmishes against the bad guys.

Video games is great because your brain is active and not passive. I should play like you instead of watching TV or series (I guess overthinking is lower when you play games). My favourite game is Tetris (I bought a Gameboy 2 years ago just for this game). But I also liked games like Crash Bandicoot when it came out.

Ah yes i have seen the gameplay it's getting quite popular the character movement is pretty funny though which i guess makes it fun to play too.

I played No Man's Sky lately, and Cyberpunk, and revisited the whole Sims 3 suite. Unfortunately I have an unhealthy relationship with some games. It's a cycle:
1. Pure entertainment, simply enjoying the game
2. Mild boredom that pushes me to seek additional content, communities or competition
3. Feeling that I should be the best or a need to introduce something uniquely mine to the game
4. Getting into modding or cheating
5. Heavy burnout because high ambitions meet low energy

They are in a way similar to movies except you control what's gonna happen, you should give it a try something nice, not too difficult.

Yeah, i've tried modding clothes and stuff to video games a lot i just get obsessed with doing it and end up failing. I have played cyberpunk but i barely understood what was going on, too many side missions.
I tried to make my own game in Unreal Engine 5 but i guess it didn't work really about as expected.

Apparently the next PlayStation is slated for 2027. I'll also be getting back into gaming. I remember time flying back when I used to play multiplayer.

Same. I also tried gamedev with UE5, got annoyed, switched to Unity and found it surprisingly pleasant. It's equally capable (except for the graphics but who cares about Nanite and Lumen), and more intuitive.
