I wonder why this gas is not used in MAID yet. If Nembutal is "gold standard", N2O should be platinum standard.
It's not used in MAID, and at least in the US, for all intents and purposes, Nembutal is not even manufactured anymore. Doctors stopped writing prescriptions for barbiturates with the advent of much safer benzos. As such, the only remaining demand for Nembutal was MAID and prisons for state executions. This caused the price of Nembutal to skyrocket as a result. The company with the Nembutal patent (I believe they are Canadian) then decided that they didn't like the idea of having their drugs used for executions, so they further limited the supply. This left right to die organizations, and that represents a teeny tiny segment of the market = not worth mfg for such small runs.
MAID in the US then switched to Seconal. However the same problem reared it's head - that is, doctors (at least in US) virtually never write prescriptions for barbiturates anymore.
In my state, California, they now use a 3 drug combo for MAID. Propofol, another drug that paralyzes the muscles, and a final drug that stops the heart - some sort of potassium I think.
The problem with propofol is the effects wear off after like 5-10 minutes. However, combined with a plastic bag it would be perfect, especially if it's an overdose. Should give you more that enough time to let the plastic bag do the heavy lifting. If I had access to the dark web, I would get propofol. Nembutal most assuredly would probably be a scam.
I also considered 7-OH, as it's legal in the US and is said to be 13-20x stronger than morphine - it's a legit mu agonist. I was going to buy 1500mg, crush them in to a powder, fasting for 24 hours beforehand, then getting a little drunk and as soon as I start to feel woozy, I secure a 45 gallon garbage bag over my head which would give me about 60 minutes to breathe normally. This would insure I am in a semi coma while I asphyxiate from rising CO2 levels.
The problem is I discovered this too late. There was a rash of ODs in Los Angeles, so California, where I live, made it illegal to sell as of July 2025. Not possess, but to sell. In other states it's still legal though. I don't even care if I die by OD, all I'm worried about is producing a loss of consciousness. The plastic bag is my insurance for every method I am considering. As I stated to you in a previous post, I'm now going for N2O and a plastic bag.
