Netherlands, I am your neighbor! 😄
Nice :-) I just walked by a public bookshelf and found these, which reminded me of you:

I didn't take them with me though... Interestingly, they are made for learning Dutch from English!

Guten Morgen! Many English speakers living in Germany?
Or there any for learing German from Dutch..? 🐱

@U. A. - No, there's a huge difference between Dutch and German, unless you live near the border. German is much harder to write. Dutch people learn German in public school, but not the other way around. We also learn English and French.

No, it depends on education degree as well. We also have Latin (which is completely pointless imo). In Germany mostly everything is dubbed, so you don't hear much original English or other languages in daily life. But in the Netherlands you grow up with English everywhere: on TV, music, games etc.

Wow, you learn so many languages, I'm envious!!!

For Germans, Dutch sounds funny. Like "doedelijk", which means "deadly", sounds like "deadily", since the German word "tod" means "dead". Difficult to explain... but as far as I know, learning Dutch is hard for Germans. It's just hearsay, I have no experience. It was hard to resist the temptation to take those books, but I already have a 2000 page book about amateur radio technology from the 1980s which I didn't read, and a bunch of other books. And I bought at least 6 sets of books from HumbleBundle with at least 16 books each. But I read two of those :-) already!

You can also take Latin in school here, but you van take French or Italian instead. It's true most stuff is dubbed except music. But whenever something must sound fancy, an English term is used. Like Girl's/Boy's days, for example. And advertisement uses a lot of English, too, especially frangrances (guess how I learned that word :-) ) and fashion.
