Help UK Nursing Homes : Anyone here Residents?

*Admin / Mods — Please advise / move if this thread is in wrong sub forum ?


Is anyone else here in this situation?

If anyone here is comfortable sharing?

I understand if not. Thank you


Reasons for me :

1. Due to ongoing rapid , severe physical / medical deterioration / disabilities.

2. Due to SO / 'carer' being unable / unavailable … etc. Cannot have 'home care' due to #3 —

3. Due to 2022 move to rental apartment being extremely unsafe / unsuited for disabled — have lost 95% of former limited mobility / strength — and accessible / tolerable basic hygiene and fresh air , etc.


I have no choice now — just hoping for anyone's experience / advice please

*PS: I'm 55+
— But would be grateful to hear from ppl of any age if comfortable with sharing
