Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Many people told me it is necessary tying yourself to the chair whe ctb with inert gas and the bag... The thing is I think this is a bad idea, in any case, I'm feeling insecure due to the fact that people here think it is necessary, I will say why I think it is a terrible idea.

The document I'm reading to learn how to ctb with this method says it is super important to be relaxed and to be able to breath perfectly, I think to be tied up causes anxiety and doesn't allow you to breath properly (it's KEY to be able to fully fill your lungs). Also, why if it is important the document or the book doesn't say anything about it? Where did you get your conclusions about that? I think it is better to be on a soffa in a comfortable position in such way you cannot fall when you loose consciousness.

I didn't read the document you are referring to but from what i understand, tying might help twofold:
-it would restrict involuntary movements while your body stops functioning, preventing you form accidentally knocking off the tank or the bag/mask or disconnecting the hose
-it would limit SI response which, for some, might be hard to overcome.

Personally i don't like restraints so i got myself a regular bodybag. It will limit involuntary movements without tying, allowing me to rest in horizontal position and also it will prevent any "leakage" should my body decide to empty itself during the process.

Wheelchair seatbelt straps across the chest. More comfortable than a rope. Kind of like a seatbelt so you don't fall out or slouch too far one side or another.

Lying down or sitting.
Bodybag - as the name implies it's a bag for body transportation. You know - usually black, reinforced plastic, with a zipper and handles on sides.

the thing is... you have around 10 seconds after putting the plastic bag over your head to accomodate yourself inside that bag..

I can hold my breath for far longer. Besides, i won't be using a bag, as you already know from other thread.
The protocol says doing hyperventilation and then taking two deep breaths, this seems to be a key part in the process... Good luck anyway. I'm thinking I will take the first breath already getting inside the bag, and hopefully i will have time to take a second one while closing the bodybag...
