I know, but sharing information is not against TOS.

that is true

this discussion covers many espacts
- incriminating info about orders people made etc
- sources
- talking about every small detail of suppliers
- and privacy against LE
- Minors who still can read all methods as non members

You're right, i just wanted to give my take on a specific note.
Nothing personal of course, i like that we are discussing this, its a important mather. Maybe even stating what i stated, gives more perspective, thats what i hope.

How about we let the site owners/administrators worry about the legalities of it all? Ultimately, they are the ones who would be held liable (criminally and/or civilly). I'm sure they have consulted with competent lawyers to protect themselves -- especially after the Shawn Shatto case. If changes to the format or accessibility need to be made, they'll implement them.

They can worry about the legalities, but feedback has got to be useful sometimes no?

You can still be held liable for what you say to who you say it in a critical situation.

every member can be below 18 , just click yes i am 18 and older and still they are in.
the problem then is when we discus or give info and they kill themselves , that very difficult to check ofcourse.

but the point about non member can see all methods and info on suppliers is a slipperyslop ( dont know how to write that last word)

that happend with the shawn case, thats when police started checking this site

To interject again –

  • Methods/threads complicated – not that accessible
  • Guides don't lead to ctb – a person will have to research much more
  • Even if methods private – LE/Pro watch for THREADS TITLES – "current events"
Just a suggestion on what to focus

Still weird that people can read methods and kids also can use this info as non members

To be honest, when I was growing up and internet wasn't in every home, ctb-ing still existed even in those homes.

There's reasons for the rules here. And why the mods are so diligent in their duties. I swear I don't know how they can do it and maintain any level of sanity.

That's my stance, as well. Would be nice to get some input from them on this matter.

You do make a good case, Berlin76, and while it seems logical to me as a layman, I'd be surprised if the owners aren't aware of this. So, for what it's worth, I hope you're wrong. :hihi:

I am not really sure if its a prolife movement or government intervention or not. In reality , a lot of these private sellers may just not want to carry the guilt of what someone might do with it. It is very likely anyone selling this product never thought about it being used for this purpose, and when they found out, made a choice to no longer sell it.

But lots of things that were not restricted are becoming more and more controlled. Require proof of "intent of use" that didn't used to exist is everywhere now. Even door lock rekeying kits have been restricted because people can learn to pick locks with them.

Hi, are you still looking to buy SN?

Surprisingly, it appeared on a popular website and I ordered it straight away. But it hasn't arrived yet, I should have received it by now, so I contacted the seller and waiting for a reply. Thank you!

Well, thanks. I only ordered it at the time cuz I was worried about not getting hold of it in the future. I do not need it straight away. In fact, I do not know when I will need it. I will let you know if I do.

Of course they are going to start regulating it more highly... Law enforcement is stalking as we speak... It was only a matter of time...
They view the community as a 'death cult' that is going to drive mentally healthy and content people to acts they would not commit...

Death cult? I was raised in a cult. This ain't not cult. Literally the only place I've found to speak my mind with like minded individuals. I'm eternally grateful that it is here.
.
When i found it it was fourth place or something like that.

But still think about it when kids 14 years old read al the methods and then kill themselves. We are responsible for all the info they read
I'm not even sure how I found it. I was desperate and needing to talk and the other social media's will probably send cops to you. I think I was looking up methods and somehow it popped up.
