Thank you, I just looked it up, but in the United States it requires a prescription unfortunately. Although it is possible I could request it, probably not too difficult. But then again the dr may inquire as to why am i asking for a specific one, and not just whatever they happen to prescribe. I appreciate your good ideas and thank you.
I overdosed on it without benzos and anti emetics, and I feel asleep after 5 minutes, but the dumb this is I woke up(have no memory of this) went to knock on my moms door and collapsed, then I had a seizure as my mom told me and didnt breath or slow breathing and went to icu they found my empty boxes of it in my cabinet and pumped my stomach and put me in coma. Then I woke up afterwards and thought I had brain damage as the ambulance had taken 30 minutes to get to me and I could not form the words I wanted to say and my hands were shaking and I could not hold a cup. But that passed after a few days now. If I hadnt been found I would be dead they said. So I like this method it didnt feel bad at all, the crazy thing is my tongue vent numb after I took them, I ingested 84 pills 50 mg. Didnt even grind them. If I had duck taped my legs and mouth I would have been dead by now, so thats what I will do next time, either this again or SN.
Amitryptiline is helping medicine for sleep actually and it gives cardiac arrest(death cause) I think.

Thank you very much for sharing what happened to you. Did the seizure hurt? Was it very physically uncomfortable to have a seizure? I take amitriptyline for PTSD, sleep, and migraines and it works really well Four improving the frustration threshold and a lot of people and especially with sleep. Unfortunately it doesn't cure PTSD, it doesn't seem like anything hears it.

What was it like to have a seizure during your overdose?

Was there anything about your amitriptyline overdose that you wish you had known before you tried it? )Any regrets about not knowing something about amitriptyline)?
I'm very curious.

What caused you to go blind? Do this indicate you were near death?

You've been through a lot, I hope it gets better for you.

How long were you blind or severely vision impaired??
Thanks.
I don't know, started noticing I couldn't see when I was in the hotel elevator, and could start mildly seeing again at the ICU

Thank you, I appreciate your helpful input. So you don't think you were blind for more than a couple of days at the most? Was it very painful in your eyes?

Well, I appreciate any of your experience with SN; i'm very grateful.

it wasn't painful for my eyes i think. And no, when I woke up I could see perfectly so no more than a day for sure.

I took 30 tablets of amitriptyline that I had been prescribed for sleep (can't remember the strength) in January, 2019.
I took a travel sickness anti-emetic, but no anti seizure meds.
I have no memory of the seizures, but I was all over the room. (Husband found me in the furthest corner).

During the seizure, I got a concussion from banging my head against the wall, and I shattered 2 molars, which had to be replaced with implants ($6000).

Was in an induced coma for 4 days; 6 days in ICU. 3 weeks on psych ward.

EMS told my husband that I would have died, but they found the empty amitryptyline bottle, and were able to initiate treatment.

That's a lot to go through and I guess you don't remember much then. Did it feel painful in anyway besides bumping your head?
(ouch!)

Do you remember how many milligrams per pill the prescription was for? (25, 50 mg, 100 mg etc?)

Thank you for sharing!

Dang, this scares me. Thought the SN method was a good choice, now starting to question it.

FUCK! Now I'm afraid of SN. Imagine if I drink and end up blind. Worse than now.

Wait... pardon any misunderstanding I might have please, but did you take both amitriptyline and SN?

Your original post mentions SN but then you also mentioned your experience with just OD amitriptyline... ?

Thank you!

Yeah blindness even temporarily is scary.

I'm trying to figure out if It was SN or amitriptyline that made him temporarily go blind, I hear you I'm getting kind of mixed up now about what to think of SN??

I think if you survive to SN you can be more or less lucky depending on the time you've been in a lack of oxygen. Some organs may collapse in more or less time.

There's little to no evidence to contrast this. Afaik, everyone who survived had no organ damage, please don't spread misinformation.

I puked it.

I am very doubtful about the reliability level of the SN. And what is the real level of discomfort/pain of this method. I'm starting to think about raising money and traveling looking for N personally. But I also don't know if this is still possible in 2020. Maybe I'll go with SN if I can't get anything better. God, this thing of taking your own life is so hard...

It was a personal opinion after all. Better if people don't get organ damage that will make life even worse.
How are you feeling now after so long? Did you find a way to restart or to go out from all the shit around? Would help me if you found a way.

Hi, what's your method now?
I was just kidding. I said at least 15 times already in this thread that I'm really good right now and looking forwards the future. He asked me twice which leads me to think that he's either my mom or my paranoid ex lol. And my mom doesn't uses the internet so guess who.

This is indeed what I'm afraid of. Failure means that I will have tough time to do it again.
I'd prepare with bit more SN than the guide. And maybe try to put a pillow over my face

Does anyone know how less effective would it be if I were to drink 2 cans of beer first?

The beer might make you more likely to vomit

Funnily enough my teacher just told in class about how the eye's retina needs oxygen from the blood to make the image, that's why I couldn't see after taking it.

You've lied enough already, please stop spreading misinformation here too. Nobody reported organ damage at least until I attempted, and I doubt anyone has now.
Do not fear nor believe his lies.

Just don't drink the beers, and don't use more SN than the indicated. It will only make you puke and more prone to failure.
