[sorry for the clickbaity title, I don't really know how else to describe how I'm feeling in regards to this topic. I hope people understand what I mean]

I don't think that people should have to resort to dying by their own hand. Euthanasia should be a given right to anyone regardless of their physical health or mental state.
Suicide is an awful thing for people to feel like they have to resort to, as there are a variety of ways someone could potentially mess up their method and end up in the hospital or worse case permanently disabled.

Yes technically voluntary euthanasia is suicide since you're asking to end your life out of your own volition, but I think we can all agree that there is a huge difference between a doctor administering a drug that will instantly and peacefully kill you versus someone trying to hang themselves and risk permanent full body paralysis.

At the end of the day It's a mixed bag for me. Obviously I'm not completely anti-suicide or else I wouldn't be here, but I don't think anyone should have to resort to doing it on their own and risk hurting themselves. I think it's pretty demonic that people are forced to live despite whatever things they might be going through. Even if someone has a "perfect life" I still think everyone should have the right to die if they so choose.

Exactly. I can maybe understand if its a loved one telling someone that it's 'not the answer' because losing someone that close to you is hard and maybe in their mind said person who is suffering could get help, but at the same time why am I not allowed to have that sort of control over my life? Unfortunately not everyone has the capacity to get better, I really wish we did but that's just how the world is.

I agree with you. Ironically, I think some normies reading this may actually hate your/ our perspective even more though! That suicide should in fact become more accessible and more reliable/ peaceful.

While I'm sure they'd hate to admit it, I suspect they are in one way- glad that all we have left to escape with are risky and brutal methods. I suspect they see that as a reasonable 'price' for putting a lot of people off even attempting to begin with. It's almost like- nevermind if you maim yourself permanently- you're still alive- and with us. Safe (and trapped) here.

Absolutely agree. Some of these so-called formerly suicidal people are in a position to recover from their circumstances, yet they judge those that aren't; Now though I do agree everyone should have the right to CTB, some people applying the rhetoric they can always recover from any position life's put them in, and we know that's just not true.

It truly is so horrific how we exist in this anti-suicide world where humans do all they can to make others suffer for as long as possible even know this torturous, painful and deeply undesirable existence that I just always saw as a mistake was so tragically imposed in the first place.

I find it terrifying how trying to cease existing can go wrong and the fact that humans have gotten damage from such is really so horrifying, this prison anti-suicide world where the suffering and torture of human existence is seen as to force and prolong no matter what truly is the most evil place, it's just horrific to me how pro-lifers are obsessed with trapping others in this torturous existence where there is no limit as to how much agony one can feel, denying euthanasia truly is the most unacceptable crime that causes endless amounts of harm and suffering.
