Tips on maximizing success on partial hanging?

Honestly I had enough and I'm nearing impulsively CTB.

I found rope at walmart which can sustain 200+ lbs. and know how to knot both sides. but I cant find a way to cut my cartoid bc I'm a fat loser.

and now my parents are on my ass about the ropes from Walmart and will chuck me in the psych ward for the third time if they find ligature.

Suggestions?

I do know that you have to stand completely straight, and then place the rope in the middle of your neck, just slightly below the adam's apple. If I'm wrong then somebody correct me. Also I have terrible posture so I struggled with constricting the cartoid.
