I get that. My trauma has only gotten worse as I've gotten older because I can now process how shitty and horrible it was. As a kid, it was sorta like another day?

I think that saying is just an empty toxic positivity platitude that glorifies suffering, it's just an insult to how existence truly is so cruel.

I think it can heal you to an extent maybe close the wound some. But I think unless you are given closure and help it will always be angry and festering. Whether because of what happened, poor memory, or repressing the memories. I have forgotten a lot of what happened at PUMs. I still remember a lot. But occasionally I'll be like oh shit I can believe I forgot this happened...
I haven't gotten any closure. I will probably never get any closure and go to my grave that way.

Depends on the wounds honestly, stuff like sa will never heal, that will stick with you forever, death on the other hand is sad but we can move on, I'm still a mess from my pass and shit I've done, and I doubt I'll never stop blaming myself

Something traumatic happened to me for a long time, I rather not talk about it. Because of this I am seriously considering ending my life. Only me and "GOD" knows what I went through. I want closure but I don't think there ever will be any closure.
