Disagree with many of his positions. He's definitely anti-choice about ctb. But if you debated him on it, he would most certainly use non-committal language and only make subtle implications in an attempt to avoid showing his real cards.

He was arrested because he violated a court order to respect his own son. The title is misleading but let me quote from your article (which by the way intentionally misgenders a trans child, nice one):

And that's a pretty obvious situation in my opinion. This case here has nothing to do with bill C-16. Nothing. Canadian courts were already legally capable of making such decisions before C-16 was a thing.

But here is a lesson for all the parents out there that have trans children: you don't own your child and your child has a right to find and express their own identity regardless of your political beliefs. And you don't have a right to abuse your trans child when there is empirical evidence that invalidating their identity repeatedly is increasing depressive symptoms, suicide ideation and suicidal behaviour.[1][2] This is very important considering trans youth already have a very high depression, self-harm and suicide rate.[3] This entire thing here is more than just misgendering, it's about a father abusing his son every single day in every way possible. And that's not okay.

I belief he has a lot of wisdom, within him. He gives great lectures. But most of the times, he is very strict with his verdicts and conclusions, that's an issue. He is a psychologist, and had no understanding of psychiatry and the psych medication, He abused them, he fucked up and went offline for few years i guess, and recently he is back in business

His daughter cured herself by going on a diet where she eats nothing but beef, so apparently JP and his wife jumped on board. He claimed it cured his anxiety, which leaves us to wonder what the whole benzo addiction/Russian cure was all about. I don't think the nutritional imbalance is doing him much good.

Yeah there was one podcast with his daughter where he talked about this fucking up with meds, and they were unable to get cure in US, and went to russia and spent so many days there. The sad part is the psychologist have no fudging idea about, these meds, used for mental health
