Thoughts on hanging + plastic bag combined?

I remember reading somewhere about the tiny possibility of the brain stem surviving after hanging. You can stop this with a plastic bag over the head to make the odds of dying even higher but it comes with the problem of trying to do it fast enough before you run out of air. thoughts?

I mean most hangers pass out in 10-15 seconds, and if you filled the bag with inert gas it would be more effective and wouldn't hurt.

It is overkill. It is very unlikely that you will survive hanging if you do it right. Of course, there is nothing wrong with trying this double method craziness.
