• Hey Guest,

As you know, censorship around the world has been ramping up at an alarming pace. The UK and OFCOM has singled out this community and have been focusing its censorship efforts here. It takes a good amount of resources to maintain the infrastructure for our community and to resist this censorship. We would appreciate any and all donations.

It's impossible to rent a 1 bedroom apartment where I live, no matter which job you have. I have a bachelor's in Computer Science (which is like the best paying degree) and still the salary is only like 1500€ at best while renting a 1 bedroom apartment is 1000€+ (not counting utilities), so after you factor in food and health expenses it's pretty much impossible to afford it. How the fuck is it fair to have one of the best paying degrees and still not have enough money for surviving. I don't even care about having money for luxury stuff like fancy clothes or a fancy car or a gaming PC or traveling or any of that shit, I never gave a fuck about any of that. Literally just want to spend my money on rent + food + medication, but still it is not enough for even the most basic of needs. Couple that with some health stuff I'm going through and this is sending me over the edge. Anyway rant over, thank you for reading

Not every precocious talent in the world has the privilege of attending university. A university degree does not equate to higher earnings, social status or privileges. It equates to higher social responsibility, and that is all it equates to. If your experience of university did not teach you that, then you will get nothing else out of it.

I have a first class honours degree and I live in a new build nightmare shoe box house of two rooms, for which I pay £111 a week (not counting utilities and tax) to a social housing association, which is like €500 a month. I can claim something like £875 a month in state welfare which is like €1,000. In the last quarter of a year I can get a job in a warehouse moving boxes alongside other graduates, earning about £400 a week which is like €2,000 a month, for three months. So my annual rent is like €6,000 and my income is €15,000. Another 15 years of this and I can retire on a state pension of about £200 a week / €1,000 a month and maybe buy a little boat to install my drinks cabinet in, if I live, and if there are still state pensions by then. So what can you do.

Just existing is expensive, and then to think how much we had to pay to get those degrees too.

I have a college degree also. It's fair work/ fair pay. All it affords me is the basic necessities of life. My bills are overwhelming and I definitely agree with you! Sometimes, I wonder did I make the right decision. I look around and people without degrees seem happier, less stressful, and receive benefits that I would never be to get. It's all so unfair and I doubt it will ever get better.

Are you in the UK? The snobbery here is unreal. I'm in social housing too, which I'm grateful for. It's a rural location though, so crap opportunities. I find people look down at you in these types of rentals. I've got a Bachelor of Laws, and honestly, people treat me like I'm shit and stupid because I'm in social housing.

Yeah I'm in the UK, but in an industrial city. Opportunities are crap in the city too. The snobbery's more a rural thing I think. People in the inner city know that they're vermin and they only look down on snobs. Mus Urbanus et Mus Rusticus. Do you have any Irish? To be fair I only started a degree because people treated me like an Irish idiot, and silly me £15,000 of debt later and guess what if they still do. At least I can get a job in a warehouse with the other graduates for three months of the year now.

Out in the sticks they love a good ghost story. Every village has its headless horseman or grey lady, or rumoured witch-cult, or is certain they're the true birthplace of Robin Hood. Neighbouring villages compete with each other for the best rural legend. Walk into the local pub late at night and ask them about supernatural goings on, maybe make up a ghost sighting. You'll have those yokels eating out of your palm in no time.

Oh, no one told you yet? Being a social media "influencer" or Only Fans "model" is the only way to live comfortably these days. Unless you're part of the Illuminati, like Bezos, Zuckerberg and Musk.
