Wholesome post and a break from all the depressing shit, if anyone cares lol. I've been quite busy with a lot of stuff coming up and I start my new job soon, things seem to be looking up and I'm kind of excited. Maybe one day I can build a life for myself that's worth living. Maybe uni will be fun, and one day all of the terrible feelings and things I went through in the past will just be distant memories. I'll get to live with my boyfriend after college!

I feel like my university years were the best time of my life, so I'm genuinely jealous of you (not in a bad way). Have a good time in uni, I'm glad you have so much hope in your heart.

Was gonna reply yesterday but I was so tired I just ended up having to go to bed haha

I'm glad you're feeling good again friend. I was happy seeing your posts about life being worth living before and it's put a smile on my face seeing this one too honestly. Uni was fun for me, tho the pics they have of people sitting on the grass definitely weren't true for me hahaha but otherwise it was a good experience and if it's a topic you enjoy it genuinely is fun learning about it. I did computing and loved the vast majority of it, never really enjoyed some of the later web developing stuff but that's just because of preference more than anything. Real time programming was insanely fun and confusing but I adored it!

Just make sure you don't beat yourself up too much for feeling it. For me, I also have waves of thoughts even when I don't want to do it. From my understanding it's like because I feel trapped and don't know how to fix things my brain defaults to wanting to die. It's annoying as hell haha

It'll likely pass again for you too, and you'll likely bounce between being okay and wanting to die a bit. I think it's fairly normal during recovery, the best thing to do would be to find a way to distract from those thoughts when they happen <3

As a person with multiple chronic health issues which tend to come and go either in intensity or outright - literally remission and relapse - I think this is a much better way of framing suicidal ideation and its absence. TL;DR: if you stop feeling suicidal but later start again, don't feel bad...

I don't know if I want to recover I hope that paycheck doesn't hit $100 or I'll be trapped here forever, and it feels like this will never pass.
