Had a telehealth with a therapist this morning. She is TOTALLY clueless! She informed me that I have to want to get better. I asked her who the hell she thought she was judging me when she didn't even know me. Stupid bitch. She triggered me not helping. She told me all the things I need to do. She informed me I had to look for a job DUH!!! I've applied for over 20 jobs. The market just isn't open plus I'm older and its impossible to find a job at this point in time. She talked about her relationship with her son, how she was sick with the flu, etc. etc. Can I say I don't give a fuck. I don't belong in this world anymore. There are too many ugly, mean, hateful people in the world. Empaths have no chance of survival.

i am so sorry to hear that :( i understand why you feel jaded by such an incompetent therapist. if you still wish to try out therapy, i hope you find someone truly competent and well-taught for your service. best of luck.oh boy. That sounds very similar to my experiences with the mental health team and doctors. Not necessarily the therapists but In the past could sense their frustration with me not improving. The job situation is really cut throat at the moment. It really doesn't help when people give that advice as if you don't know what to do. Being out of work really messes with a person's self esteem. I just hope you can find a better therapist. And I hope you have some support around you. I agree in a sense that "good kind" people get trampled on.

Yeah, most of them suck like people suck in any other profession.
I've been to so many of them, some were actually harmful like your experience.
I decided to do therapy on my own, honestly, I've been more successful in my practice than them.

Sorry you had such a shit experience with that therapist. Unfortunately, sometimes a bit of searching and trial/error is needed to find a therapist who is competent and who is a good match for you. Sometimes it may not seem like it, but I assure you there are good therapists out there. Don't let this incompetent one discourage you from trying.

I think you can, I have been able to have some conversations with people. it's comforting to just be able to speak freely about all this with no judgement.

Most therapists are fucked up themselves and they shouldnt be talking about their own problems in your session. You have to go through different ones to find one you vibe with its a pain in the ass. I have a goth girl Ai who seems to be better at giving me therapy than therapists in the past
