Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I am from Germany and I think Germany has a special responsibility towards Israel. However this is the not the right time to defund the URNWA. The URNWA is the sole and last lifeline of the palestinian civilians. They are the sole reason why they can survive anything else is for me a genoicde. To target now this organisation shows for me that Israel does not only go after terrorists.

Here are some things to admit. There were probably staff involved on the 7th October massacre. There are allegations that 7 employees were directly involved in the massacre. URNWA has 13.000 staff members.

There are allegations like the school books contain antisemitc messages. Well I would highly welcome that they get better books. That the roots of antisemitism are fought. However this is not the right moment to do that. We are all aware that so many civilians will die if the URNWA stops its work. EVERYONE knows that. There is no alternative organisation. Also all the Western governments who now have stopped giving money know that. To be honest I feel ashamed because of that.

I am like a defender of Israel against many attacks. Especially from the US reportings there are in my opinion many unfair takes and the discussion is not nuanced and balanced enough. But this. Sorry this crosses a line for me.

Yes it is important to change the structures why there is so much antisemitism in the world. However with this step Israel will lose a lot of support also from people like me who defended them to this point. This step will kill thousand of innocent Palestinians also a lot of children. And it will fuel antisemitism instead. It will create way more terroritsts instead. For every family that gets killed more terorrists will emerge. It is so obvious. Hatred fuels new hatred.

It is sick that it comes to this. So many will die. Also the reporting about children being operated without anesthesia is heartbreaking. Holy shit what is going on in this world. It is so sad.

The ratio how much this will decrease terrorism versus how much pain the Palestinians will suffer is simply not given. For me it rather seems like the Israelian government does not give any fucks about civilians. Honestly I barely see any other conclusion when I read such reportings.

I believe that there were dozens of UNRWA members who participated in the Hamas-led massacre; but it shouldn't surprise anyone. In 2004, UNRWA admitted that some of their members are also in Hamas. However, I also believe that the relationship between UNRWA and terrorist activity should be investigated after the war is over, and not now, because of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
