Venting The uncertainties surrounding the nature of death are intensely distressing to me

For example, we don't know what the nature of consciousness is, or what the correct theory of personal identity or time is, etc.

I don't know how to cope. I just want to believe that death is the end. The pain is excruciating, and I am ready to be done.
