The story of many

We all got to Die eventually. Many of old age, many young. Most people have no control over the where and when, under what circumstances. Many know and feel it coming, many don't. Many wish for a certain kind of death. Home in bed. But many die in accidents, natural disasters instead of natural causes. Many want to live forever and many know that everything has an end. Many refuse others their wish to die, but many say you should leave when you're ready. Many have no choice. Many seek a way out. Many see death as their last resort. Many are denied their wishes. We all got to die eventually. We often have so little choices in life. Let people choose when they want to go.

I believe that ceasing to exist on our own terms should be as straightforward as just choosing to switch off our consciousness as after all only are we are the ones trapped with ourselves, suffering in our existence.

It's so absurd how a peaceful death is viewed as something so terrible in this hellish reality despite the fact that nobody can suffer from not existing and we are all just waiting around to die anyway. Eventually all we know will be forgotten about no matter what.
