@faust I also think it's the quality of the thing and where they got it from.. some cheap knock off of a brand. Either way, that would make me drop a load in my trousers if it happened to me.

@one4all, Once I did not turn off the vaporizer, the button was pushed inside my backpack and the burning cotton melted the plastic glass. That was the time when I was really scared.

@one4all It would be better if that happened in my pocket, I would notice the vapor coming and would hear the sound.
And ye, dolphins don't vape underwater, sea salt is harmful for electronics ;)

@faust Couldn't it got a little hot down there? I'm thinking of a video i saw where the persons phone started on fire in there pants.
Where does a dolphin store their vape and cartridges?
Sea water + batteries = FUN
Electronics themselves without a power supply isn't that much fun.

@one4all Yes, that is possible, though rare.
And of course every dolphin likes a fresh toast in the morning and uses a fan to dry the flippers underwater ;)
And uses sodium as a firework

@faust fresh toast in the water?
LOL is that flipper reference from something i posted previously?

Hmmm now i have to rethink this whole thing about dolphins.. they vape and use fans.
I can see them using laptops though. that makes sense.

I am assuming sodium nitrate for the fireworks. Wouldn't want to waste nitrite on them.

@one4all Dolphins like electricity so they don't swim in distilled water :pfff:
Btw recalled one video of a guy who threw a fan in his bathtub. Real video.
However, I doubt it could kill us instantly because most of the flow does not have to go through our body.
Nitrate is for making eutrophication, this turns the water from sky blue to toxic green and makes the life more colorful.

So if i dropped a 220V line in an enclosed environment with a dolphin.. they would enjoy that? :sunglasses:

Tossing electronics in a bathtub isn't what people think it is. Depending on where you live and the set up of your house. Normally that would just pop the circuit breaker and kill the power, where i live.

I don't think the dolphins will handle that toxic green shit so well. What a lovely dead space of water that is. Look at all the dead life on the shoreline. Chemical run off and dumping is a bitch.

I thought you were going down the path of sodium nitrate for the lovely yellow colors when used with fireworks.

@one4all that's what will happen almost everywhere unless you modify the circuit breaker.
We may just rest alone in the dark bathroom with a fan in the water and suspicions that fan was too weak.
That should not work unless you pre-fill the bathroom with butane-propane mix. Then you may be lucky to be alive...
I hate eutrophication myself, this is disgusting especially when you see rivers and lakes covered with a carpet of cyanobacterias.

@faust I think it's best just to run a line directly, bypassing the circuit breaker, into the tub. :ahhha: No point screwing around with toasters or fans.

No candles lit while you soak in the tub with a nice volatile gas and a fan in your hands?

I'm not sure where abouts you swim around.. but the coast of Florida and Cali get hammered pretty good with the toxic bloom. Seems to get worse and worse every year.

What gets to me is seeing all the marine life washed up on the shores and beaches, that were killed by it.

But i think i'm getting to sentimental these days.

@one4all nitrous and phosphoric fertilizers make the cyanobacterias feel like home, meanwhile CB deprives sea life of oxygen so the waters become deadly.
I don't even talk about huge islands of plastic trash in the ocean which is eaten by fish and then this fish is eaten by bigger predators. Stomachs may become full of this waste and sea life dies.

@faust Ohhh i know what that shit does to the water. Marine life isn't dieing for the algae itself.

I think you are referring to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

And lets not talk about mercury in the fish or the marine life exposed to nuclear radiation.

@one4all At the place with no humans wildlife feels awesome. Chernobyl is the greatest example. Since 1986 it has become a paradise for nature even despite cesium. Humans are weaker, they will die first.

@faust And have you seen all the DIVERSE/mutated like that has come from Chernobyl, in that area. Yes it still goes on.. such is the cycle of evolution and life. I think i read something recently about another forest fire over there.
Well lets hope we can keep a few places around that aren't screwed by humans.
Aww unfortunetaly the human body is frail. But it also has evolved and adapted over the years. If you believe the conventional theory of eveolution and not that we were created for the dust of the earth.

@one4all Yes, the cycle of evolution is continuing. Species get stronger in certain circumstances. And there are many things which are untold about radiation. That many bathrooms have a 10-100 times higher radiation level than normal, that holding some radioactive metals with bare hands is okay, that tobacco contains polonium-210 and that life without radiation would be impossible.
Only shit that people have done make it look like it is something terribly odd. Radioactive elements in such quantity never appear in nature.
I've seen that image before, it seems staged. A lot of the trash looks new and like it was thrown in the whale's mouth.
It is an art installation, not even a real whale. And it was created by Greenpeace Philippines :)
Trash is often found in whales' stomach, that's how they wanted to bring the attention to the problem.
Edit: and not just the problem of whales

I thought the whale's eye looked odd. I'm not surprised it's an art installation. People passed it around on Facebook like it was real.

This photo is of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, twice the size of Texas, in which trash has gathered between California and France. It is one of five major trash islands in the world's oceans. Some of the trash is 50 years old. And it's not all plastic. There are even objects like refrigerators.

@faust Ohhh noooo not back to the tobacco conversation! :pfff:
Many things are never told about a lot of things. I remember the big fear about transmission/power towers causing radiation poisoning.
Same with cell phones too.
Fuck man.. every day it seems like shit changes around.. one day this isn't good for you, then a week later it's not bad for you. Friggin scientific journals are all screwed up. Tomorrow i know that what was said yesterday..is out the window :pfff:

Do you mean they never appear on earth and not somewhere in the universe?

@GoodPersonEffed These islands show not just that people are untidy, but that we did not learn to use our resources properly. If the plastic is collected, so many homes can be built, even artificial islands can be created. All the waste can be used again and again. I recalled one American show where guys were taking a car from a car dump and making it new. People in 100-200 years will not know what is plastic and what is oil, so there is no point in using these things now.
@one4all Oh yes, I saw so much shit on this. First they were blaming TV boxes, then telephones, then microwaves, then cellphones. Now they attack 5G in a latent way downloading movies with a high-speed internet. Then I guess they will blame worldwide satellite internet. They need good articles and more attention, that's it.
As long as we have ozone layer, we are unlikely to have these natural sources on Earth. Meanwhile all the Universe is based on nuclear reactions, we are just used to a certain level of radiation.

@faust Yeah that 5G theory is all over the place now.
I miss the good old days where eating lead paint and asbestos was the worst of fears.
Well they can't blame the satellites.. if they did what would this poor world do without them!? :ahhha: They would never throw those under the bus. Can you imagine the "fall out" if they did?
I can understand the need to publish articles.. hell thats how they get known and founded. But at least get your shit straight. I've seen some published articles that got retracted because the information they posted was not entirely factual and could not be reproduced.

Well you can kiss the ozone layer goodbye LOL
Well the mechanics of the universe i don't know if it's all based on nuclear reactions. That's the fuel to start things.. so i guess that could be considered based on.

Now i have to look into dark matter again .

@one4all I miss the days when old PC monitors were considered a huge threat. And that the broken mercury thermometer would " inevitably kill " a person. Now the worst fear would be to remove all Google servers, millions of people will be simply unable to operate. And satellites won't help there much.
Ofc if they don't like 5G they can use fax instead and rent DVDs to watch movies with their families. But they will be unable to hide from solar radiation, so will have to build a glass shield. It will be an apogee of human ignorance.
P.S. Strange thing, but fuel produces ozone.

@faust On a sad note. I did think about mercury poisoning from a thermometer before, yes i know what it can do. I use to have one that actually had mercury in it, have no clue where that went. So stupid me bought a thermometer thinking they still did that. Then i was WTF did i just buy. Seems they don't use mercury anymore :pfff:

Or build a Dyson Sphere :smiling:

Strange thing.. cows fart

@one4all Yes, it is produced by cars indirectly and is very toxic to animals, people and plants, appears on ground-level in big concentrations.
I once broke a thermometer with a red liquid inside and thought that I cut myself because the liquid was of the same color as blood.
However, the best thermometer for me is just my well-being. I feel way different when I have even a bit higher temperature.

Higher temperature pushes the oxygen-ozone equilibrium towards ozone... So yeah.

And destroys ozone layer in the sky.
