Another Saturday evening. Hope y'all doing well. I have a very silent evening myself, but it's a good one. After having posted my guide to legal hallucinogens I saw nutmeg in the store today and thought I must try it. I took 5 grams and I've been perfectly relaxed and in a good mood for several hours now and not experienced any hallucinations. I don't know if I'll get a hangover tomorrow, but if I don't, I've found a new, cheap, and effective anxiety and depression killer. :D
Isn't 5g quite a big OD?

Is it? I thought it was a normal dose. I should point out that I'm "cheating" with pre-powdered nutmeg which reportedly is weaker.
I really don't know, just sounded like a bucket load. Maybe I should start adding it to my tortillas and soup. :smiling:

That might be a good idea and it might not. Some people get sick from nutmeg, but it may of course be because they take to high doses.

Wow, nice effort! My drunk shitposts come out as passive aggressive semimystical nonsense.

Mind reading!
Thanks man, I made it halfway through the list and almost gave up lol. My vision was getting blurry and the list of names seemed endless!

Lol and so it begins*... 3 months from now you'll only be able get nutmeg from P on E and there will be a FB campaign to stop it muahhahahaha.

*NB. Anyone else get annoyed when characters come out with that line in movies and books? It always pisses me off.

I think it's been seven hours since I took nutmeg. No hallucinations. I've felt through and through fine, but now there's a kind of comedown.
So let us know here, @Sensei if start seeing into the future now ok?

Who am I to say? I'm not entirely sure I'd like to see the future, actually. Sometimes, ignorance really is bliss.

I actually did some more searching online just to be safe and turns out there can be some adverse effects including nausea and cardiovascular stuff as well. Also I saw somewhere a recommended starting dosage of 10g so that could be why you had a lower high. Though it was posted on a drug forum so I'll probably start off with 5g too just to be safe. I also can't do it tonight since I might have to help parents with a fence job tomorrow and I'd like 100% of my faculties for working outside in the heat lol.

It's said that you can get terrible hangovers from nutmeg, but I assume it's individual. I'll know tomorrow.

for the first time in what feels like months (i have no sense of time, for all i know it's been days) alcohol feels good again
I'm the exact opposite. I can't stand hot tea but I consume at least half a liter of iced tea each day! And I hate coffee. I've had three cups of my entire life - one of them iced, so I'm not even sure that counts. Now, I wouldn't turn down a Starbucks strawberry and crème frappuccino! ^_^

be careful with the iced tea. i hear it causes kidney stones, it might just be the american version for all i know because i don't hear the same with hot tea.

I'm getting worried.. I need to submit my semester report in 10 days but my professor requires us to consult him 3x so he can check the reports and give the ok to submit it. I've sent him my report 4 days ago for the first consult and he still hasn't replied, but he said that he's already replied to everyone else's.

I swear if I fail to submit the report it's going to be another $2000 to repeat the semester just because he's making it complicated for everyone in the last step.

That sounds both horrifying and exactly like my institute. Thankfully I'm done with uni now.

If I may ask, what's the course in question here?

It's the internship semester.. We don't even go to campus and for whatever the reason is the semester fee is still around $2000.

The due date is 10 days away, and I haven't even gotten my first correction yet.. If it turns out I have to revise or rewrite lots of the report, then I might be fucked. I still have to get signatures and shit too.

If I fail and have to repeat the semester, I'll have to handle the hassle of finding another internship and of course, pay the semester fee again.

Any plans for your last day of freedom? Or are you just going to take it easy?

I wish I could get a 2 month break every year. Collecting unemployment while this Corona shit has been going on is the only break like that I've had in years.

Trying to figure out what college I want to go to. I'm torn between 2 different colleges.
That's definitely an important decision to make. It's good that you have options though.

Take it easy. I want to relax my last day of freedom.

With two months, do you refer to the teachers' summer break? It's not that long in my country, for sure.

I'm torn between one in my home state and another in another state. The one in another state would be cheaper oddly

I never thought to raid the spice rack. I'm definitely going to atleast give it a try though. You have any firsthand experience?

Take it easy. I want to relax my last day of freedom.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that they jip us of everything. Being a teacher is not easy nowdays. However, I'm lucky to be in an idyllic school with, knock on wood, nice pupils and understanding headmasters.

That does make a difference. My ex was a teacher and her students used to make her life a living hell. Mad respect to you for doing the job, I know I couldn't do it.
