When I was first diagnosed with what turned out to be pancreatic cancer, my doctor told me to go home and have a martini. I didn't, although that's probably what he did. I can't get ahold of my MMJ lately, so I finally tried brandy instead, and I just can't do it. Tastes great, very relaxing, my gut hates it.
(Side note: when my dad was in the hospital, I was talking with one of the young doctors about MMJ. He was unsure whether it was a good idea for me, and asked how I'd feel if a doctor used it. I asked how he'd feel about a doctor having a beer after work; I was intending to equate MMJ with beer. To my surprise, he responded emphatically that I'd better hope the doctor has a beer if I want him to go to work the next day! Then he realized the analogy I was trying to make. Apparently there are an awful lot of people just coping with life via mind-altering substances of varying kinds.)

I always liked Jameson's Irish Whisky myself. I know it's sacrilege but I preferred it to most Scotch whiskeys. Lovely smooth peaty taste.

It's is cheap indeed. I still preferred the taste to good scotch. And you can get 12 year old stuff but I've never tried it.

Spent like 3 hours debugging a program because 1 person didn't work right, and I had to track down if it was a program issue (that made over 1000 lines of code changes,... probably closer to 2000 since the last update--and it had to be pushed out yesterday.
Or if it was something else.... at least I found the issue, but still... it was irritating. I'd say it'd make me wanna drink, but I'd just settle for my migraine to go away lol

Sounds like a typical gig programming... what language you writing? I'm doing mostly Go nowadays with an increasingly larger focus on devops stuff (Docker, Kubernetes, all that crap)
