Hey everyone.

To the people that aren't reading this post anymore, I hope that I helped you find peace.

I'll be CTB very soon with the NN method. I hope that everyone has had a good time reading my posts and I hope that people in the future have an easy time with this method.

If you're frustrated, just keep trying till you perfect the method. If you can't perfect it and want to give up, then try a different method.

This will be my last post ever on this forum.

Take care and please be at peace with yourselves.

Kooz, would this method work for people with migraine. I have been trying it and felt dizzy twice. But I am getting frequent headaches. I am still practising it , want to get thorough, have some time before I CTB.

I am just trying it with cloth tie with knots to apply pressure on the carotid artery. But it works at times and doesn't at times. I think I am not applying the right amount of pressure.Thinking of going with SN now.

Well I have been practicing and still cannot get the black out experience, only throbbing headache. I have also been looking at PH and FH methods and opted for FH as my back up, so I have decided that its time for me to CTB either tonight or tomorrow night. I have sorted out my personal and financial details and letter to loved ones. Thank you to all those members who have contribued to the discussions, I hope you all find peace with whatever decisions you make to either CTB or stay longer on this FUBAR planet. If there is no update from me after a few days then presume I have gone otherwise if it all goes wrong I will be back for more advice. Take care people, big hugs.

Well I am still here sadly, I waited til 4 am when I knew no one would be about and wife would be fast asleep. I had my clothes ready to leave the house and she woke up, I just said I was going for a walk but she demanded she go with me or I should go back to bed. Second attempt coming up soon.

Legit method for me, I am very sensitive to even minor pain which will cause a suicide failure in most methods. I was planning an exit-bag first, but then had problems with getting all the equipment needed for it. And I then I saw this method, and practiced for a bit after reading first pages. Found my spots fairly quick, and passed out in mere seconds. I practiced with my fingers, so will have to practice with cornhole bags as well - hopefully won't face any problems.

Thanks everyone for contributing information into this thread, and peace with the ones who CTB already!

Ah I wish I could pm you! If you don't mind can you explain what it felt like while trying to pass out, during passing out, and after you passed out? What made you wake up after you were unconscious? Do you have to press down on both spots or just one? How much pressure did you apply? I'm really considering this method but feeling my arteries and the pulse in my neck is making me a bit squeamish

Can you report back here, once you try the cornhole bags?

I basically followed instructions on first 5 pages. I don't think you need to apply a lot of pressure. You just need to sort of push arteries against something firm. You should be pushing them towards each other as well - if that makes sense to you, but it worked for me . It would feel like anesthesia if ever had one. You should feel it within seconds if you found the spots. If you don't feel anything after 5-ish seconds - release and try again. You might not pass out, but just fill dizzy and be about to pass out.

I am planning to try them when I am about to CTB. Because based on what I read here, and how it felt during practice with my fingers - You might have not enough time to undo the ratchet/duck tape. But I will report when I have everything sorted out.

When you let go, do you have convulsions?

They are showing this methode in a serie on Netflix: Ad Vitam, in the end of episode 3 ( i think ).

But there it was upgraded and you had a remotecontrol to adjust the pressure.

I was a bit sceptical about this. Couldn't find my sweet spot. Then I tried with my head raised standing up. Just at the below my jaw on the sides of my Adam's apple.

In 3 seconds flat I almost collapsed to the ground. This method now seems legit as hell. And incredibly fast to pull off especially in a quiet outdoorsy setting where noone is likely to find you.

Here's an idea. If you really want to find the carotids, do what I did:
Jog on the spot for 5 to 10 minutes. You'll feel that pulse when your heart rate rises when you touch the sides of your neck.

Jogging in place seems like a good idea, gets the blood moving and heart pumping, so def should be able to feel the pulse more! I'll have to try this. Nice suggestion @CarbonMonoxide!

I checked Netflix, the show Ad Vitam to find what @NoDream mentioned. Indeed it is at the end of Episode 3, starts around 43:55 to be exact.

For those who don't have Netflix, don't worry, you are not missing much. I don't watch the show, but in that particular part the character is apparently looking for ways to perhaps kill someone or herself (more likely), ends up in the back of some shady store where the suspicious owner is selling deadly equipment; guns, knives, torture devices, etc. She asks about the collar, which is this futuristic mechanical S&M strangling device (see pic below). The owner says he sells it to couples. He gives her the remote explaining that when you press the button it begins to quickly tighten simulating asphyxiation. There's no safety so he assures her if you keep holding the button you will die. He even brings a guy from the back to demonstrait this (who doesn't really even protest to trying it out other than giving the girl a poorly acted concerned look) and i'm pretty sure she kills him by continuously holding the button bec after the initial 30 sec of it constricting his throat, as he struggles for air, he quickly drops down out of frame and the scene changes to her being on the bus.

It's all very unrealistic, haha but fun to watch, I guess? I suppose if such a collar existed, and actually worked as fast as he drops, it would be a great way to CBT. Although it doesn't really make sense bc his carotids are not specifically targeted. The collar just rapidly constricts like a rope would without the added pressure of your hanging body.

Indeed, I only managed to find them while standing. Didn't have to jog or anything else. Just stood up and found them almost right away.

Can't seem to find the carotids no matter how many times I try. Thus haven't achieved the pass out/vision blackened feeling. Only using my fingers.

Can anyone who has successfully almost passed out explain better? I'm doing the U shape with my hand and tilting my head back a little.

Hi. I like the gorilla tape idea. What I would like to do is gorilla tape round the neck, noose around the neck and partial suspension. Do you think that's unnecessary? I'm thinking of a quick way to go which my survival instinct won't stop me from doing. I tried to hang myself so much today but the rope was hurting my neck so much I couldn't do it. Thanks
