Things just keep getting worse. Today a federal postal worker knocked on my door because they seized the opiates I ordered on the Darknet.

Naturally this scared the shit out of me. I ended up giving them the information they asked for and they told me that since I have no criminal history and is this the first time they will not be arresting me. Federal agents and cops are allowed to lie in order to get information, so I'm just hoping they were telling the truth.

I have been hardcore abusing opiates for about a year and half and now my only source has been cutoff. I only have a day or two left so by the end of the week I will be in for a brutal withdrawal.

I am terrified to face the next 5-10 days.

I am going to try to be strong and hold back some of the pills to take to attempt CBT once my tolerance lowers in a month.

I'm already researching attorneys so I can have them monitor for warrants.

So... you informed on your darknet drug-dealer in the hopes of getting leniency instead of refusing to talk with police?

Well, we all make choices I guess. Did they have any independent way of proving you placed the order before you informed on yourself by confessing to the police instead of requesting a lawyer?

I'm not saying you did anything bad... I am just trying to understand how someone would be willing to order drugs on the darknet but wouldn't be willing to get a lawyer before talking with police.

Is there a federal public defender's office you could call? Or could you call your local bar association to see if they have any low cost referrals so you can speak with a criminal defense attorney?
