So I'm testing it using a decoration rope i found in my house, so the question is: The sensation i feel is basically being able to breathe but not feeling the oxygen in your body, like just feeling the air but not actually benefiting from it beyond the air itself

It's hard to describe, also after I finished testing it I feel out of breath As if I would've done physical activity or as if I was drowning, even though I was breathing just fine.

Is this the right sensation ?

I don't think so. From what I can remember from being choked out is that I could not breathe and that I had a feeling of slowly slipping away. I definitely could not breathe though.

Ohh this is interesting 🤔

I tested it too before and basically I just felt really sleepy and my vision started to fade out quickly. It was pretty scary. When I stopped I just felt...weird and sorta...wrung out.

How did you test it? I am struggling to get to the sleepy and vision fading I'm only getting the blood filled head feeling

I used a handle bar in my shower and a rope. The trick is you have to find your carotid artery. It took some time to find it but once I did it, I put the rope over my neck and made sure that when I tightened the noose, it pushed down on the carotid artery. Then I knelt down and leant forward. And as soon I leant forward I started passing out.

Here's everything about partial hanging. I used this guide to help me.

And this is the rope I used. I got it from a hardware store.

When I found my carotid artery and put the rope there it put a lot of pressure on my trachea and only caused pain but no passing out, I read that thread, and the thread's by Evelyn and I'm still so lost on how everyone seems to pass out easy

I think our main issue is the cartoid arthery, once we can sort that out we're good

Yeah I read several threads and they all said fsh is better than partial to ensure a quick pass out due to more pressure on the cartoid but honestly I struggle with it and am thinking of downgrading to partial, unsure how to stop the si if I pass out to not just stand up from my knees and how to put enough pressure downwards to pass out but that's my next attempt

Its also the angle of the rope that matters. You gotta angle it upwards(?). IIRC I had the rope sitting something like this, just under my chin

If the rope is lower...yeah you'll just be pressing on your windpipe

I hope this makes sense, sorry for the shitty diagram and explanation.

No you're good, that's pretty much what I think the rope did when I attempted full a few times but I just got a head rush of blood not passing out. When I sit down and test the noose before and pull hard my ears were ringing so I'm thinking maybe partial will fix the issue I'm having. Even with the rope that high my trachea hurts in the front of my neck from the rope, above the Adam's apple, I tried even higher like under the jaw and also just got neck pain, I honestly can't figure out what's wrong and why others are getting the passing out feeling while I'm not but hoping if I lower my rope to be a partial and try again it might work?

Yeah I think if you try partial and make sure your are pressing the carotid artery it should eliminate some of the problems you're having.

I wish I could find the picture but I swear I've also seen people put some sort of padding under the rope to help with the pain. Maybe you can try that as well. I also found that getting drunk helps a lot too - moreso with courage and fighting the survival instinct.

I hope everything works out for you <3

I'm trying to find a guide but I don't think there are any for partial are there? I looked at Evelyn's guides and I only saw one with videos, assuming the same knots and rope placement as full. I don't drink but when I did try it just gave me a headache so I don't think that would work for me. I thought of taking NyQuil to help me but I think I saw someone post that it made them throw up when they tried hanging

I haven't seen it, I'll take a look thank you. I wish there was a way to turn off the pain but I feel like this won't say much on it
