A couple of weeks ago (I'd say, 5 maybe...) I finally gave a listen to Dystopia's last album and they're really cool. Listened to their whole discography, I'm a fan. What's funny about it that I've been putting them off for a very long time. One of their songs became popular on tiktok (of all things) sooner then I listened to them lol.
I really like, well, everything about them, especially the way the lyrics are written. They remind me of Acid Bath's a little... They're just so simple but every word is perfectly picked and sang. And they feel really personal too, at least for me. They're definitely my favourite band next to Lifelover from now on. Happy I finally checked them out. Ah. Only now I remembered I can cross them out in my little journal...-ly thingy. And write odes to them there too. Damn, that would be nice to do tomorrow.
I also have been binging adult swim shows a little, one of those rare times I really finish stuff. I now get all that "binging shows when stressed" talk. Days ago finished Moral Orel (a masterpiece in my humble opinion). Before it I binged Metalocalypse. Like, literally all content I could find, even the fan one. I mentioned in a talk with my friend after watching Smiling Friends that I always liked [as] shows and how I loved Metalocalypse. Well, the little parts of it/couple of episodes I could lay my hands on as a kid. And then I decided it would be nice to check it out now, since I was already rotting in bed instead of doing work. I'm a huge fan of it now, I'd say I love it as much as I love postal, and that's a lot. Really a lot. I'll be making a Dethklok t-shirt in summer if I have time... Hope I'll get to wear it then too.
