• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've been wondering if it'd be useful to have a megathread for all the information about going to Switzerland for VAD. Specifically stuff like which organizations require what, people's experiences, the cost, and what reasons they'll likely reject you for.

I know because of news outcry it seems like Switzerland is a euthanasia paradise where they will take your money and then give you the tools to die peacefully (due to the law they can't do the actual deed themselves) but from some stuff I've read here and other places it seems like that's not the case and places like Pegasos appear to have no restrictions but might in fact reject you after your deposit and they still keep the money.

But the anecdotes all seem a bit contradictory so I thought maybe making one thread where we try to gather accurate information and experiences would be helpful so people would know if it's worth their time and money to use as an option. This would be especially valuable to people with physical health conditions, or physical health conditions that cause mental health conditions because of the suffering (I have heard that if your suffering is considered to be primarily mental health related and you are under 50 then you are likely to be denied and that might be an issue for people who have physical conditions but might have some doctors see their problems as primarily mental).

So I guess this would be the thread to post any information you know of that's accurate and/or links to other posts in this forum with information and/or anything else you might know or have personnel experience with, like dealing with the organizations or having a family member that has.

A couple of years ago, I reached out to Dignitas and Exit, but nothing came of it. If you don't have money, it's basically pointless. I can't afford the hassle, the membership fees, travel and all that.

The best thing would be if you could simply buy the substance legally in everyday stores.

The stupid ordinary people who enjoy life should finally suffer too, so they understand what it's like to have no fun and just struggle through life, fighting for nothing and rotting all day, all just because of those who turn everything into a business.

Is it possible for them to accept your application if you don't have a medical condition but youre willing to pay the money?

From what I've read they wouldn't do that. They're already under a lot of scrutiny, I doubt they want more international press coverage for assisting in the suicide of an otherwise "healthy" tourist with no medical diagnosis at all.

I was looking at Pegasos and their eligibility criteria seemed much more relaxed. I need to look into it further.

I'm talking to A currently and they're great if a bit slow to respond

It's all a bit of a pain to get the documents the government requires

anyone else in their 50s or older who's in the same boat, feel free to message me to compare notes

I had a catastrophic injury but I'm technically "recovered" so hopefully that still is acceptable, especially given my age

They're shockingly expensive. And call themselves a non-profit.

Anyone else who does the same thing, but without the absurd check?
Does anyone have any other sources, that are not dependent on a diagnostic of any kind?

Right now, I've done an initial contact with all three of the major ones. They want several up to date medical records which I am currently in the process of getting. That and a lot of information about your history among other things. I will update once I get further along.

Do you really have no fun?
