what's your experience with it? i squeeze my neck and i start to feel dizzy, weak and my vision goes dark in less than 10 seconds but i can't make myself pass out because it stops out of nowhere. not enough pressure i suppose, but it should work with a belt.

a few months ago i just randomly did it and got up and i think something happened because even though i didn't fall my legs were shaking and i didn't know what was happening for a few seconds. is this a good sign?

I've been able to find the sweet spot once when I started practicing a couple of days ago. Since then, even though I tried to remember the feeling and position, I've yet to be able to replicate it.

After reflection and trying again, I'm not certain it was the sweet spot, just something close to it. Similar to what you describe in your post.

I think I found it. I'm consistently able to get the feeling of feeling dizzy, weak, and watching my vision go dark. It's unfortunate that I can't seem to pass out, but that might be a pressure issue.

Are you using your fingers? If so how hard are you pressing on the spot? I'm having troubling getting that feeling even though i can feel the pulse on both sides of the neck

I've tried with both ropes and socks, as well as my hand. A strong touch, not enough to make me pass out, but enough to feel dizzy and weak. It was closer to the jugular than you'd think. The same level as your chin, but closer to the neck.

So like higher up towards the chin and on the side? Or more to the front?

That's about right. The positioning of the socks in the thread below should give a good image as to where carotid arteries are. As will a response to another other thread below.

do you know which position is best for hanging? like kneeling or sitting, i've read about people waking up because they switch positions during convulsions and i don't want it to happen, overcoming si once is hard enough
