I plan to leave notes because my reasons are health related. I want my family to know they could not have done anything to help me. It will be bad enough to deal with the loss. I don't want them to also feel guilt.

I've debated since I've never really felt like my opinion matter, I always leaned towards no. Yet, my spiteful side wants one last chance to let my voice be heard. I wouldn't be alive to care one way or another. I could tell one last time, but again at the same time I wonder if people deserve a reason or if they should think about it. Idk if they would care or not. Either way feels arrogant. Ugh.

I would to explain that non-existence is all I wished for, I'd explain how I've only ever wished for peace from this existence I always saw as the most cruel, terrible tragedy. To me existence itself really is the true problem as it's the source of all suffering and I just don't want to suffer in any way, I wish to be permanently unconscious for all eternity, I'd always prefer to not exist than suffer for potentially decades longer just to be tortured by old age.

I have all my notes already written. They mean a lot to me, as without them I wouldn't give the people I love closure, and I'd hate that.

In my life I've experienced the crazy pain of not receiving closure 3 times, which is 3 more than I wanted. I wouldn't wish this on anybody, so I'll try to make notes for everyone I know well and/or am friends with. I wonder if by that time I'll manage to make friends on SS
(Just to clarify, the closure that I have not received is not related to anybody ctbing. It's more about being deleted from one's life)

I voted no because I don't intend to justify and explain everything I've done when I made the decision to CTB. Especially IRL and my time is better spent being comfortable, being confident, and ensuring I succeed in my method. I will however, make a goodbye thread on SaSu because I value this community as well as my interactions with various members on this platform, and also to ensure that my works will be beneficial to others to pick up the torch once I'm gone and fight for a better future that respects pro-choice sentiments and viewpoints.

I have written one. My reasoning is that I reached out about suicide in person months ago so the person will likely be hurt by my decision. I explain my reasoning, explain why some of the typical reasons like staying for others isn't enough, and otherwise wish the person well in short summary.

It's around nineteen physical pages or so. I've written a few notes before just to destroy them but I think this will stay despite some flaws it has.

Otherwise, I find note writing to be very difficult. I've lived mostly within my own mind and pretty isolated when it comes to expressing what I think or feel. Ninety nine percent of of my waking hours are alone, the rest is just largely brief retail interactions.

Otherwise, I may write one for my grandfather because he is not in the know regarding me wanting to kill myself for years and one other coworker who has taken me home at least twenty times or so. I just find it hard to do anything and I don't want to write the same things word for word in each note. Cynically it is also easy to think they will simply view my problems as very temporary so a note will simply add confusion.

Another reason for the note is just sentimental in a way. It's a record of what I actually think regardless of how it's perceived. I'd like a small piece of what I actually think to exist beyond gossip and rumor after I pass.

No. I don't feel the need to explain myself to friends or family. I don't care about them if I'm being honest. As for online friends, they don't need to know anything happened to me. I'm just going to ghost them and delete all of my accounts.

I'm still not sure if I will CTB but if I do I will make a note irl for my loved ones.

I will most likely write a note. The world is a place where there is a lot of suffering (sometimes I wonder why that is so). I'd write it to say goodbye, I'd try to be brief and at least say goodbye. For me saying goodbye is important.

Idk, I don't really know what to say in a goodbye letter. I don't know how to express my reasons why. But I feel I will have to because i live alone and if I don't no one will find me for a long while.
