Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

So, one thing I heard is that you could just utilize an auto message feature so that a message automatically gets sent to your online friends about your suicide if you successfully commit.

Make it as long as you feel like, say whatever you want, and make sure that it seems just right to you. Don't go around blaming those who did nothing to you though is all I'm gonna say.

its your final goodbye so if there's anyone you will truly miss, any regrets, how you're feeling beforehand, something that may have happened to you that you havent shared with anyone, it would be good. some have a lot to say, some dont. write down some ideas in bullet points at first and work from there

honestly make it as long as you want for whoever you want. if you have a lot to say to a specific person then write it out but if not, thats fine too.

but i would definitely mention that if in the end, nothing they couldve said or done would've changed your mind, throw that in there

ppl can tend to blame themselves for others suicide & think of everything they shouldve done or shouldn't have said

Welcome, and I'm sorry that life has brought you here.

That's good advice from the other guys who have posted.

Something else that I'd like to add and what I'm planning on doing is to make a series of videos for my family using my phone. I've bought a smartphone tripod (Ā£10 from Amazon) so I can sit down in front of it.

My parents will be absolutely devastated when I die, so for them to have videos that they can replay (as opposed to just a written note) will be very comforting for them. Plus, actually hearing my tone and seeing my facial expressions are characteristics
that a written note can obviously not provide.

I was going to cover several topics, including:

  • To apologise and to talk about my reasons for ending my life (even though they will know exactly why I've done it).
  • To thank them for everything they've done for me and let them know that there was absolutely nothing they could do to prevent me from ending my life (they've already done far too much).
  • To apologise for things and acknowledge that it's ultimately my fault that I ended up in the position I was in.
  • To reminisce about all the good times and years gone by etc.
  • Instructions for how to take care of my remaining affairs, my last wishes, and what I want to happen with all my stuff etc.
  • What to say to people at my funeral so people don't think I'm selfish for what I've done, and what music to play at my funeral and what photos to share so people remember me for how I used to be, not what I became.
  • I will also make individual ones for my brother and my two best friends.
If anyone else has any other good ideas please share, I'd love to hear them.

These are just some ideas for you, and for anybody else reading this, I haven't decided for definite yet how many I'll make. I've decided to break things up and not make just one video for my parents so that it's easier for them to separate and navigate things. Like for example, the ones I make reminiscing about the good times etc and any others that have a happier tone shall I say, will be ones that my parents will probably want to play over and over again, so to not have to skip and avoid the sad parts like they'd have to if I made just one video, will be much more comfortable for them.

With regards to the ones I make for my brother and two best friends, I'll only make one each.

I also plan on handwriting and/or typing a note as well, to my family and to my friends.

I hope this helps.

Oh now this made me feel emotional to read. It reminds me of the song Videotape by Radiohead. I think that'll be a profound gesture.
